Such an ugly sound and monkey manners as always! After Kowalski's beautiful, enchanting version for me it's just impossible to listen! I wonder how such great, beautiful music can cause such ugly grimaces especially in a woman who is even attractive when she isn't singing?! What happens to her?

I think the slight 'breathiness' you detect is a studied affect to imply innocence. I'm sure Ms. Bartoli can do pretty much what she wants and it's O.K. with me!

She is such an amazing singer, but i wasn't happy with this version for some reason. I didn't expect her to sound breathy and exhausted. I'm singing this piece for a recital, and I'd get smacked if i ended up being breathy... LOL. Maybe she wasn't feeling well this day. We all get sick.

She is completely amazing and I was like "pcch" when I saw that people were saying her pronunciation is wrong..but it is in parts haha. Oh well, no one is perfect. :)

her french is not good here, I thinkg it's because of the difficulty of the aria (many french singers wouldn't make it clearer), cos when she sings Seguedille, she sounds like a french girl
