There is water condenser technology that collects water to drink and for home use from the humidity in the air even when the climate is dry desert. There's compost toilets, there's a home called an earthship that uses recyclable materials, old tires, bottles, and cans to create the foundation, recycles dirty water thru plants to create food. There's so much that can be done but those in power want to control us so they obscure this knowledge. Look up earthship home on YouTube and see for yourse
the planets pop. will almost DOUBLE by 2025 and if somthing is not done than the earth would go into complete caosa does anyone realize that some countries are not even worth having on this planet what is the purpose of the whole African continent all its people are doing is taking up space on this earth which we could use
@flashpoint62 Thats how these so called "3rd world" countries are in the situation their in now, you dont complain when the African continent & other poor countries are being robbed, explioted and miseducated of their raw materials for your convenience, which keeps them underdeveloped. Insted you look at them as less than human, you may feel like that towards them, but if this can happen to them, what makes you think it cant happend to people like you?
The real problem is Christian colonialism. The Christians have crawled across the globe like parasites destroying cultures in their paths. The rip the culture, customs, traditions and ancient knowledge from these peoples till they have forgotten how their fore fathers worked the land and survived quite well.
If the Christians had never interfered, these people would be living happily and healthily just as their fore fathers of 500 years ago lived.
I get what this doco is about, but I have a problem with they will walk for 3 or 4 hours a day to carry water home, but they can not walk for a reasonable distance to dump their waste.
I do not believe that they do not choose to dump the waste there.
There must be another place, or community long drops can be easily built. and well managed.
It may sound harsh, but it looks to me that they choose to shit where they drink.
Eww wait. So, they shit on that hill were the water goes, then they drink it and it makes them have diarrhea so they shit even more and the water supply gets more polluted. Oh man, we just opened up a black hole.
Too many damned humans in the world but we can't just commit genocide. But a mess. You know, if every human in the world had access to water at free will the crisis would eventually get even bigger. The entire world needs to conserve to become more resource efficient.
@booksbooks HAHA, im afraid your theory reveals an economic paradox! While poor countries who use little resources have a shit load of children, the countries who use many resources per capita don't have very many children at all. Thus, when these poor ass countries get to a certain level of economic comfort the amount of children they have will decrease.
@zerillimassimo That is true but with improved quality of life fewer people die. Japan has this problem with old people not dying, leaving little room for new citizens. Japan is now paying immigrants to go back to their home countries because of it. And then there is the problem of first world countries with huge populations around the world like the UK and the US that have the best education in the world available but still have bloated populations.
@booksbooks yes, but in today's world the birth rate vastly outweighs the mortality rate, making your argument miniscule. Japan, actually is not seeming to have very much problem at all in the immigration sector and its population is actually decreasing at the moment. The UK as populated as it is, is not really growing that much, it has reached its carrying capacity. The US, however, as populated it may seem, is actually under-populated compared to some of its European and Asian counterparts.
@zerillimassimo The UK and US have huge immigration problems. The UK will get theirs under control in the next few years but the US will not. Also, the problem of over population will not be solved faster than it spirals out of control, which it will. It is inevitable that we create our own doom in one way or another as nothing else can amount to our superiority on Earth and every living thing has a master and our masters are ourselves.
@booksbooks sire, take a second from preaching brimstone and hellfire. now realize that one you say the US is over-populated, such a statement is comparative. Sure the US has the third largest population, but the country itself is massive and compared to other developed countries is very low in terms of people per area. With out a doubt over-population is a major concern, but allowing people access to water all over the world will not cause the problem to grow.
@zerillimassimo The problem will grow if people live longer and the birth rate doesn't go down which I don't except it will. I call 300m+ over populated on any body of land. What do you call over populated exactly? It isn't severe over population, but it is still over population. The fact that there is no way out of this problem is pretty maddening. Birth control only helps the problem, it doesn't get rid of it. If we found a way to colonize another planet then we could get out of this mess.
Beware people. An Inconvenient Truth is the leading propaganda film for the socialist wealth distribution scheme that is coming to all countries if Al Gore and David Suzuki, the two high priests of this global warming/climate change religion, get their wishes. You must resist. Thank God for the CRU email hack. Don't let your politicians sign any treaties. Resist the global warming SCAM!!!

reverse rural-urban migration....cities have limits to what they can deliver; the urban slums rapid growth is politically and economically driven...
