@milidude err, plutonium is a byproduct of light water reactor fission. actually a really big one (huge problem for waste disposal, Pu239 just doesn't go away). it's produced in small amounts in the fuel lattice, and while the other more exotic fission products would have been "shut down" by the control rod insertion and the boric acid, the plutonium will happily keep shooting off alphas and neutrons. problem is, it gets into your coolant water and leaks out. It's bad, but not THAT bad.
@Ryukachoo well the fission products would have decayed away into more stable isotopes, not shut down. except for that damn cesium-137. thank god it doesn't bio-accumulate, a 30 year half life means it's nasty radioactive but doesn't go away quickly, the WORST kind of radiotoxicity.
luckily this stuff was in like parts per billion around the reactor. Noticeable, but it's long since faded to near background levels.

If Pu 239 doesn't split and instead captures another Neutron and turns into Pu 240 it starts to build up. U238 turns into Pu 239 about 94% of the time. Pu 239 turns into Pu 240 about 34% of the time. Pu 240 starts to build up. It can absorb another neutron to go into Pu 241 which is fissionable.

well...thre was a nother earthquake on the noreastern end of japan today(933am)
and i immediately went to the haarp website to see if there was any feedback and guess what!???............. the website has been "offline" all day today and knowing this i seriously doubt there will be any follow-up record to that effect of what haarp was doing during this time(blackout) now onto another issue google 731 if you want to find out the black side of japan during ww2

@abcwritestartread - i completely forgot abut the toyota debacle which was found to be a fraudulent situation since the suspect car had the wrong floor-mats installed. japan was starting to display its independence again and the u.s. financial and military system has used that country as a dirty dish towel. it is mind boggling that the ones who committed this act can sleep at nite. they need to be worried for soon we will come for them as a thief in the nite.

seems to me that if they got the Ronald Reagen Carrier out of the area so quickly. then it makes sense that all the military bases on the west coast, in Japan and in Hawaii will start moving ships and equipment to keep it from becoming contaminated, so maybe watch for that.
