Alto is easier to make a sound on, because it requires less air. What made me a great player was to play tenor and Bari for like a year and switch back to alto. Man oh man it improves tone quality. I play alto and tuba(:
Is there any difference in tna way of playing the Alto amd tenor? Or do the way of playing is equal for both? If ther's some difference , what1s the easier of playing, alto or tenor? thanks
@hol082 the bigest differences are the ground tone which is #c on the tenor and something else on the alto, obviously the size which makes the tenor sound lower, the alto would be easier the start with because it requires a lot less air, but it all comes down to what kind of music you want to make, if you're looking for a jazzy or blues vibe i'd go for the tenor, but if you want something else alto is probably a more wise choice
I seriously want to play the tenor. My friend was amazed when I tried her tenor and played a lick from The Chicken. Don't worry, I used her Otto Link instead of her Berg Larsen.
tenor is the most amazing creation of adolphe sax. it has amazing low tones like beri and bass but it still has great parts in band and stuff. C melody tenors are amazing for jazz
And the tenors get most of the fun solos in jazz band. But the other saxes can get fun solos also.
I want a tenor so badly haha. But that's after a new piccolo and a new alto. When I'm off on my own and get a job, I'll get a new tenor. And call my friend and play the little lick of The Chicken that I know haha. Yay.
what do you do man??? and why are you standing in a way that looks that you had to go to the toilett!??? and where did you learn "playing"?! lovely greetings
its some indian style of saxaphone. for some reason their culture really enjoyed the sax's sound and they adopted it as part of their musical ensemble.
i liked your enthu in trying both saxophones with out even waiting to remove shoes or identity card..this shows your unbelieveble involvement / love for this instrument. You will achieve your aim of stealing hearts with melody on sax, your fan..Dad

Man, all the people who have commented so far are idiots.
The way you play is really out there, but I love it.
If any of you other faggots had brains, you would realize that he has decent technical skills.
