  • Partition manager wizard is really a good thing, MiniTool partition manager wizard is a good choice for you. It is easy to use and it is efficient. Saved my partitions with this tool!! Some editions are FREEEEE. any of you who need it can have a try.delete or resize is not a problem.

  • To remove the whole OS download EasyBCD and remove your current OS

  • Awesome thanks man !

  • cannot thank you enough

  • this sucks

  • xp is same way

  • @956Joeboy No, it doesn't. you have to buy or download additional 3rd-party hardware.

And Microsoft didn't add this feature until Windows Vista. Windows XP didn't have it.

You'd have to use the installation disk, but you will have to reformat your whole computer.

  • I thump up thank dude

  • @kasque09 Aha, I know right?! Lol. I haven't played those games in Years. And isn't Westwood dead? :(

  • @MicroHelper Yea. Westwood is dead. I figured that one out because I was playing Red Alert 2 that time. :)

  • @kasque09 *sob, sob* I have such good memories with the game... Challenging my cousins and kicking their ass's xD

They don't sell the games anymore, right? just the first decade collection.

  • @MicroHelper Yea. It's hard top play with it online nowadays. *sob*

I think i saw yahoo games sell it for 5 dollars. And CnC is giving Red Alert for FREE! :)

  • @kasque09 No wayy. Haha, that means I can do a FREE tutorial on that XD

Send me info about it going free.

  • @MicroHelper The Red Alert 1 is free. Find it on Cnet.

Ra2 is being sold by yahoogames. Find it.

  • Thanks Man! I so needed this!

  • Thanks! But how can you live with a hard disk with only 87 gig including vista lmao!

  • what if i want to delete my C: partition and reinstall vista, do i do the same thing?

  • uhm I can't click delete, any help??

  • grate job thanks dude it help me

  • thanks

  • Hey, when i deleted my linux partition, it says "Free Space" and its green bar, and when i right click on my C:\ frive to extend it, it wont let me click on "Extend Partion" is there any way to make this "Free Space" becom "Unallocated"? so i can extend my drive, i Have a 350 GB HD, the linux part was 135 GB, is it simply too big? can you help me?

  • You were supposed to Right Click and than click on Delete Partition . Try right clicking and look for something that says Delete

  • Yes, i deleted the linux partition, i just cant dind "Extend Partition" because i want to take the 135gb and add it back to my vista but for my vista, i cant click "Extend Partition" because i am asuming because the linux is now "Free Space" and no unallocated

  • Your Right click on your C Drive (Your Main) than you'll see the "Extend Partition" menu there. = D

  • Thats what im saying... It wont let me click it... how i solve it?

  • @waitandbl33d23 dude same!!!! have u found a solution? ill bow to u if u found a way to deal with this problem lol

but by the way do u know the advantages and disadvantages of installing an operating system on a different partition or installing an operating system along side windows?

  • @XxXxDreamWeaverxXxX Nope nothing wrong installing another Os. It does't slow down your computer at all. And I know... I'm searching why it's doing that problem.

It's Bit locker that's enabled on Windows 7 & Vista. There's a way to disable it, on Bitlocker. Try it on Google. I fixed this once with a friend but I forgot to make a video about it. Subscribe so that when I upload the video, you will know.

  • @MicroHelper thanx man and i actually figured out what was wrong. on vista i had to delete the partition itself after deleting linux from it so it showed up as "unallocated" rather than "free space". Lol im stupid so sorry for bothering u. i was just scared to delete the actual partition but then i just did it and it said "unallocated"and then it let me extend my vista partition to that space. sorry again and i subscribed

  • @waitandbl33d23 same problem idk what to do i have a 100 GB free space thats just not being used

  • This helped me soooo much dude thnx

  • thank you sir!! i partition my hd on my desk top and install windows 7 i did a DUAL boot switched between vista and window7..works fine..but here is the problems..I have a laptop i want to do the same..but i can not partition it got 220gig..every time i try to partition let wont let partition more then 2gigs..message come up saying something about SNAP shot file would not let me partition more then 2gigs..but on my desk top...its running smooth. exept my laptop. something strange.

  • Yeah that happened to me before lol . I deleted most of my stuff and restore points. And it worked out for me. Also it might be a program like Win Locker or a drive error . But they are easy to fix. But it's been a while since I've done one of those operations. I completely forgot . : ( sorry

  • Comment removed

  • Nope. Not at all . Just make it and your good. (Do a QUICK Format, a Full Format is unneeded . Only if your want to do a CHK Dsk but is useless cause your making a fresh Partition . So your Good.

  • Go to your main Drive. And right click on it to extend the black half to the Main. That's why it's Black .

  • im tryin to say is i have 2 hard disk and one is using IDE cable, then one is SATA cable, but same hard disk have own OS. vista and win7.. i want to use my hard disk SATA cable which is have win7 OS on it, but the problem is undetectable, so my primary is HDD using IDE, then my slave is HDD using SATA. i just want to know how this SATA makes a primary.. i spent time to search this problem over youtube or google but nothins happened T_T. sounds still not clear lol.. havin problem about grammar..

  • hi, im one of your fans. ive a problem about my 2 HDD. the old1 "IDE 40GB" and the new1 "SATA 320GB", the problem is they both have OS.. the old1 IDE is VISTA and the new1 SATA is WIN7.. when i remove this VISTA HDD from my pc and then reboot it says something is MISSING or cant detect my SATA HDD. so instead to remove that VISTA HDD it becomes only my bridge, so i can use my SATA HDD. pls help me about this thing. and pls sorry for my grammar, im not good at english. THANKS!

  • Okay... I just don't know what you said. Make a Partition for your Backup Data. And just install Windows 7 over Vista .

You should be good. Forget Vista .lol

  • Thank youU! :D

    You are my hero ^_^

  • Hey i made a partition so i could install windows 7 on my computer then copy all the stuff from my main drive on to my partition but when i try and delete my main drive it says "Windows cannot delete the active system partition on this disk." Can you please help?

  • @EliteSniper345 The reason is cause your deleting it before the Partition .

the MAIN Drive your trying to delete is not possible.

Here... Keep the Partition your just made for windows 7 on it . Delete Windows 7 and use that partition to back up your DATA.

THAN install Windows 7 on the MAIN DRIVE. You can't just install it on a Partition (cause it's a Logical Drive) and delete the Main .

Install Windows 7 on the MAIN and keep your data in the other Partition.

  • Ok so what your saying is just use my partition to keep it tidy for like games only or whatever and use my main for the actual windows7.

The 1 problem is how do i get rid of the dual boot because i have 2 OS's which are both windows 7 how do i get rid of them (well just 1)

  • Ok an edit on what i just wrote:

Also when you make a partition do you have to install on os on it to use it? so basically you have to have 2 OS's if so then nothing to worry about still want to get rid of the dual boot option though

  • thank you very much. :]

  • l love this dude

  • thanx alot

    it's very helpfull

i did it just like the video and it works

  • Hey, i Had a Partition that was used as a recovory that came pre-formatted on my system.

Obviously, having a recovory drive thats on the same one was very bothersome.

So i did what this said, and it did go away, but i cant Extend my Other Drive because the option isnt there.

    A Little Help?

  • That's odd . Try right clicking and click on 'Shrink Volume...'

  • thank you very much i had a 30gb partition that i couldnt get rid of - i didnt realise it was so simple to get rid of it! thanks!

  • Hey dude i wanna downgrade to Xp from vista. if i mak a nw partition lik 15g or so then click "make partition as active" thn will i b able to format my /:c drive and be able to install Xp?

  • Your computer is up to specifications for Vista. Just get Windows 7 .Way faster than Windows XP or Vista. It looks like Vista. But launches applications 5x faster than any other OS (Except Ubuntu) .

Get Windows 7 . And if you format your C Drive . That's where Vista is . That's where all your files are at . Don't downgrade vista to XP . TO much work to update and the Drivers when you first install it . Issues while doing that .

  • thanks man much help

  • LOL same but different.

  • thanks :) i did the "delete partition" thing but didn't know the last part XD

  • i reinstalled windows vista but now when i start my computer i have my new and old windows coming up i have to choose what one to use want ed to no if you could help me to delete my old 1.ive tried to formatt it and it wont allow me to would relly appreciate it if you could help

  • Oh dude.. You did it wrong. You installed Vista after the partition that means it's a logical partition not the Main. It's in front of the Main.

And your old OS is now in the main Drive. Since you installed your Vista in the 2nd Partition.

To fix this. You will need to backup your data. Insert Vista. And delete both Partitions :/ . And just install Vista in the Main one and your good. With no Old OS.

But if I were you. Get Windows 7 LOL

  • EXCELLENT video amigo! Keep up the good work.

  • Right click on it. And click on "Delete Partition..." . Click on Yes if a window Pops up. Right click on your Main Drive (the C Drive) and click on "Extend Volume". A windows should pop up. Click on Next and Next until you see your Partiion you made. Click on next and your main hard drive should gain 1 GB or more of the other partition you just made.

  • You suppose to right click and click on "Delete Partition".

  • Bro..the thing is when i right click it doesn't allow me to delete the partition...that's why bro...Need real help here..Thanks..)

  • Clear all your Restore Points.

( Search "Disk Clean Up" in the Start Menu )

And Remove the restore points. Does it say "Access Denied" ?. If it does... Do you have any other OS's on your Computer/Laptop?.

  • Disk clean up?u mean type in the search bar?..Bro what I see yours is pretty easy..but I'm usin Ultimate x64..Guess is a little different ain't it?..thanks

  • Holy Gee Wiligers... 64 bit? that's high lool.

And yes type "Disk Cleanup" in the search bar. I don't know what to do now since my Vista died and I can't go step by step anymore... :( Stupid vista killed my laptop... so I reformatted it.

  • And Microhelper bro....Thanks 4 all ur support and concern...Have a good day!!!))

  • is there any way to icrease an existing partition memory?

  • Yes. Delete the other Partition (Or make another partition with your selected memory) and right click on that Deleted Partition that shows "Unallocated Memory" (This will most likely work on the Main Drive only) and click on "Extend Volume...".

This won't work on your Logical Partitions that were in front of the Primary. (The partitions you made should be on the way right of the Main C Drive)

  • Bro....Hell Yeah!!! It's solved My primary 'C' is merged now....conclusion:Bill Gates actually locked the options of extend drive(grey) cos he wants to PLAY SAFE..so it means...There is no way u can extend ur 'C' drive in VIsta Ultimate x64 using the ready made Disk Management...This I would like to share to the whole world...ACRONIS Disk DIrector Suite ROCKS & it works like a charm on Vista!!Damn, I should hv use it in the 1st place!!

  • dis vid is what i was looking 4

    thx alot mhelper
