I asked a few years ago was Maitreya's real surname Patel and got an answer from Share Inl (not Mr Creme) that Patel was not the name Maitreya.used.

Having read Maitreya lived in a part of London with a large India community, under a very popular and common name in his community..One of the most popular surnames in uk Indian communities is Patel.
I asked a few years ago was Maitreya's real surname Patel and got an answer from Share Inl (not Mr Creme) that Patel was not the name Maitreya.used.
Maitreya is not Raj Patel.

There were perfected men openly teaching even before the time of Jesus. These were for example Hermes, Krishna, Buddha, Rama, Hercules, Vyasa, etc. Each of these teachers or masters or sons of God or whatever you want to call them imparted to humanity knowledge of some kind, or anchored among people a certain spiritual quality. Some of these masters are better known to us today than the others. Jesus' task was to anchor the ideal of love between men, and so He did indeed, amog other things.

Well, he deserves it. He helped bring all of this on by announcing that he had his first interview, so what does he expect? People are gonna try to look for this guy, Christians and sinners alike. I've been saying from the very beginning, though, that we can't assume he is maitreya. Time will tell if he is or not. Christians should be prepared anyway to sound the alarm about antichrist when he does show up, in whatever form he does.

One of my questions is.. Since they say that we all are our "own gods" or whatever.... and that they say there is not heaven/hell, no god which is total blasphemy... WHY is this maitreya person held up so high? Doesn't make sense to me at all. Shouldn't he be the same as us? Why worship him when there is no god, right? That's rediculous and totally blasphemous!!!!!

We live in an hierarchical world. From the mineral kingdom comes the vegetable kingdom,then comes the animal kingdom, next is the human kingdom. Above that is the spiritual kingdom.The spiritual kingdom is made up a group of perfected men, men who have developed beyond the human experience over many many lifetimes. At the head of that group is the World Teacher -the Master of all the Masters, known by the name Maitreya. Maitreya embodies the principle of Love- the Christ energy, 1 aspect of God.

We create our own heaven and hell through our actions and thoughts. We are 'God' in potential, the Masters, such as Maitreya, are revered because they have completed the evolutionary journey which we are still on, they are role models, a clear example of our potential.

I don't want animosity, but I suggest you research the Ageless Wisdom Teachings a bit more, it's clear you haven't....like I said no animosity I just think you need a few things cleared up.
Maitreya is a God i.e. he knows himself as God, most of us are not aware or are have fleeting glimpses. Maitreya's does not want to be 'worshipped' he says 'if you worship me you will lose me' his mission is to TEACH us how to know God. He does not want to be placed on a pedestal.

That is why until the day of declaration he will not use the name Maitreya as he wishes to be accepted for his teachings rather than his status. Maitreya's priorities are a)the erradication of poverty b) the environment c) ending war
Maitreya has never said there is no god cajunracer81, it is a fundamental tenet of his teachings that there is nothing but God, God exists,God is real.

This whole concept has got to be one of the craziest things I've ever heard and I truly can't believe how people believe in this blasphemy. There is great evil in this world right now and it is spreading lies to everyone.... A great deception will come. The only way to not be deceived is to read the Bible and see what it says about what is to come... Prepare yourselves.. even if this isn't the end deception, there will be yet a greater one... no doubt!
