  • How much meat do you need brother? That's a lot of trapping for one man. Over here in the UK, the middle and upper classes go out on horses hunting and killing foxes for fun! What barstards eh..?! They need stringing up and kicked in the nuts...

  • One thing I can say is that after I watch one of your new videos, I get all pumped up and go out and add more steel to my line. Great videos!

  • I've been watching all of your Trapping videos for a while now, since I've been waiting for season to open up and go set my line(s) up. I've just got to say that your videos are pretty awesome. It's cool to see how guys further up north and in Canada do things. Keep on doing what your doing man, and I'll get watching. Maybe come March or so when trapping over and pelts are sent off I'll download some Southeast Alaska trapping for you to watch

  • @TheWildNorth

if you get blood near the set after dispatching a red fox, I hear they don't come into the set again. You left the Fox in the bush for the wolves?

    how come?

  • Thank you for taking your time making these videos! Looking forward to the nex one!

  • Good video Andrew, keep the videos coming.

  • Nice video, I've been waiting for it for a while now. Keep them coming! And get those wolves and wolverine!! Good luck:)

  • do you shoot your catch or do you choke them out with a snare and toggle?

  • Andrew, I have started a small trapline after 35 years away from the sport. I can't wait to make my first catch. My first check had several robbed baits. You have my blood boiling for a catch.

I got my first grizzly this year at 30 feet. Damn those things are tough and they do not want to die. They roar like a lion when you shoot them. Next year I am going to shoot one with a pistol at the same range.

I would love to take you hunting here in AK

  • Really nice. Thanks for your time and efforts. Keep 'em coming.

  • You rock!

  • really enjoy your vids Thanks RICH

  • Good to be on the trails with you via camera. Wishing you luck on getting the wolf and wolverine. Would like to see a few details on how you set your snares. I need the help.

  • Here in Manitoba we just had +5 C weather, unfortunatly melted ALOT of snow, but it's alright, random hot weather like this usually brings one hell of a good storm.

  • another great one Andrew, if you get any thing in your tip up trap i would love to see a video on that. and if you have time could you possibly make a video on how you skin your weasels. thanks for posting your videos love to see more. good luck getting those wolves

  • really been enjoying your videos. Thanks

  • Good vid as always Thank you and wish you luck . Please keep them coming

  • u know its legit when the video has 0 dislikes, even the PETA dislike spammers know to stay away from things like this, right on.

  • You was born to do exactly THAT....no question...love all your vids,,, learning a lot..even though in 34 and been trapping for over 15 years...lol peace

  • Another great vid. I'm surprised that you shoot the fox. A bop on the head will do them in. Coffee filters make a decent trap cover in the snow also. But they are a pain to carry because they suck up water. Wet and frozen they don't work as well as waxed paper! Hope you label the wolverine. That's where the money is. Keep safe. Miss the part of the vids where you say "Peace."

  • Old coyote probably shit himself when he saw his main enemy coming to seal his doom! Now its time for you to catch them basterds slippin! And ring there necks! Good show andrew as always!

  • Good job Andrew , things look like there off to a good start so far.

  • nice job man

  • Love your videos, man - keep 'em comin'.

  • great job andrew keep em coming ..get them wolves

  • Can't wait to see you trap some wolves

  • coyotes and foxes....foxes were easy for me to trap, coyotes.....lots smarter for whatever reason. Never seen a weasel around here that size, wow. Awesome video, as usual, fella.

  • winters comin..wolves are around, too!save your food!

  • Love your videos here in Homer, Alaska. Keep um coming man!

  • Can't wait to see results on the wolves. Great video once again. Pet Charlie for me.

  • Just started watching your videos about a week ago im very impressed :) and I can't wait until your next one. I'm from Labrador and I love to trap as well, keep up the awesome work.

  • Do you nightlatch your traps? We have to here (Yote traps) and have them take a couple pounds before they go off. If we dont we will catch squirrels and Grouse.

  • kick as man wish i could get out more keep that camera rolling have you considered a go pro?

  • I'm very impressed with your trapping knowledge and willingness to show us how you do it. I live in interior alaska. Its great of you to share these videos and im going to try and see if I cant become a trapper aswell. Im a little older then you but it great for a younger guy showing this older guy how its done. THANKS

  • i was wishing you would film the skining/gutting/cooking/eating your rabbit! awesome video again!

  • I can't even catch the damn field mouse that got into the hose. I've been trying to catch him for a week! Lol..

  • and another great video! damn man you are the master trapper...looks like you are in tappers paradise lol

  • HAHA Wolves have to eat too! LMAO! Where is your shot placement when the fox is in the trap? Head? Heart lung? What is your distance?

  • @stayingawake20 wolf and wolverine get shot in the lungs anything else gets shot in the brain.distance usually feet sometimes inches

  • Ah, it is great to sit down at the computer and see a new video from Andrew. Looks like your off to a good start! Would love to see you make rabbit stew/soup. Looking forward to the next installment. Peace bro. -Kevin

  • Hey Andrew, I thought the foxes turned white up in the NWT for the winter? Another great video. Keep um coming! I hope you get that damn wolf.

  • @1212boochie I dont know what types of Fox he has in that area. Reds stay red. But like Weasels some do change and other dont. Ermine are brown in the summer and classic white in the winter. While Mink are the same year aorund. Hope his helps.

  • oops sorry, said that before you noticed it was a coyote too. good luck out there

  • looks like a yote to me. the wolfs taking my coyote would be enought to piss me right the hell off. i would be goin on mission "kill every fucking wolf i seen" lol good vids man!

  • another good show!! glad to see you have all the snow up there...by the way, the cutters are done and on the way tomorrow i hope. wwednesday at the latest..joe

  • about how much will that first fox sell for??

  • awesome andrew.. you need a show going.. lol WildNorth trapping with Andrew the Mad trapper... :o) keep'em coming... i love this shit..

  • great video! how much land do you get to trap on!

  • @snowsniper8 i can trap anyplace i want in the northwest territories. well not on other trappers line

  • @TheWildNorth How did you get the trapline? Did you have to file any paper work/pay fee, or did you just say I saw it first so it's mine?

  • great vid! I put wax paper on top and under to keep from freezing up. keep up the good work, we'll keep watching.

  • You have been out wolved ... no flying lynx yet? your death camp reminds me of a Far Side cartoon.. where two Coyotes are walking into death camp, and one looks up a sees all the skulls, and says "Hey George I kinda have a funny feeln about this place."

  • Awesome update. Too bad you are havin so much problem with the dogs. Hope you catch em.

  • The only problem with the videos are you cant keep them comming fast enough lol Another great one.

  • love your videos...one question im new to trapping and im wondering how to kill the catch if there not dead already...ive been carrying a 12 gauge with shot. is that overkill?

  • @XxXx0mgstankyXxXx Andrew is using a 17 HMR.. Some guys use a 22 LR

  • Excellent job andrew!

  • Get after those stinking wolves!!

  • Get those wolves or they will run your trap line before you do every day.

Damn things are smart and have no natural enemy. That's why you gotta control their numbers constantly. Good luck Andrew, if anybody can get wolves it's you man!

  • how do you make your fox sets? i really would like to catch some fox

  • Awesome vids! I can appreciate what your doing, I miss the trapline!

  • first comment im proud
