this fight was typical phil baroni. watch every fight hes ever been in and unless he can finish them in the first 2 mins of the fight he gases an barely finishes the fight. hes got really good power, but thats only in the beginning when he uses good technique with his punches, but as soon as he gases all that muscle he carries sucks the wind out of him and he starts throwin from his shoulders which wont hurt anybody.

I agree that Baroni wasn't fit to fight and was gassed in the first round but I don't think that it was all due to his conditioning. Looking at him before the fight, he is absolutely massive and I had a hard time believing that he was fighting at 170 lbs! It doesn't matter how much conditioning you do, if you cut too much weight you will run out of speed, strength, stamina and feel totally zapped in a very short space of time. I think dehydration and it's effects were the main factor.
