  • Seems to me, that I'm going to get my sixth tattoo with this!

  • Were can I get this ink at??

  • So why can i see yours in normal daylight but you said it cant be seen?

  • Nice tat. Featured on uvtats.com

  • Nice tat. Featured on uvtats.com

  • i really want to get one of my tattoos outlined in UV ink but there has been so many rumors about it not being safe, what kind of ink did you use for yours?

  • you must be a hit at the bowling alley

  • @thekingsfc17

lol! .... i am also good at the game. =)

  • thats shits toughhhh!

  • Wheres a good place to get UV tattoos in Singapore?

  • @gonadz1234

    i am in Singapore.

  • @MickalAngelus

    You ARE Sinagpore

  • does it react in the dark

like somewhere without a black light, cuz i want it to be visible in dark areas but im obviously not going to carry a black light with me every where to show it off

  • really all you have to be concerned about is skin irritation, cancer is a myth, you can get it from standing out in the sun, then depending the ink, and treatment can cause discoloration and fading/ changing of colors, there are ongoing concerns but as these tattoos become more popular, safer procedures are coming about...

  • i would like a UV tattoo myself but im dont they loos there glow after a while?

  • UV tattoo's ink are NOT glowing inks.... they are 're-acting' to the lights of UV. it will fade in time like other inks however a good piece of work wont 'loose' much ink after it is healed and well taken care of...eg. Stay away from direct sunlight. And no new colored tattoo over the existing UV tatt.

  • @MickalAngelus how do i search for a shop around where i live to get one done? and do you know an estimate for an average simple tattoo?

  • @itsmetheone80

Do a search on your local tattoo studios and call them up b4 u go over....

When you are there at their location...you need to see that they have enough UV lights to lighten up the work area, professionally to work with UV inks.

Price varies from shop to shop....

  • @MickalAngelus thanks for the help!

  • this ink is dangerous to use and people dont even know it contains pretty dangerous chemicals to make it glow look it up on google

  • @SeGaSaTuRn1994

please provide facts b4 making a statement. i had my UV tat for a full decade and till now there is no complication to my health.

  • @MickalAngelus it contains toxic metals and products to make it glow obviouisly or it would not glow up, wat im saying is some people have bad reactions to this ink u were 1 of the lucky ones

  • @SeGaSaTuRn1994 untrue statement buddy

  • i wanted to get a tattoo half in black ink, half in UV. but ive searched a few tattoo parlors in PR and none do it :(

  • @chaosdominator if you get the uv ink alone it's invisible. It's common to be bordered with another color that you can see, so it just adds effects to the tat when under a blacklight. It also depends on the persons skin tone

  • i have one question...i can see it in daylight too....so how is it invisible?

  • That's a very nice tatt sir.

  • MUAHHAHAHA!!!! perfect cheat in the exams.....

  • I wouldn't get a UV tat. I hear the ink is toxic.

  • @7thrx same here... anyone have input on this?

  • @bigdoggzzz Everything i've read about it says that the ink is fine. It's been around for quite a while so there's been plenty of tests.

  • @7thrx the ink can cause bad reactions in some people, in some cases as serious as dermatitis. however the ink has been developed, looked into and made alot more skin friendly, most people sporting UV tattoos have had little or no reaction.

and just for the record, all ink doesn't belong naturally in your skin, and all ink can give you a bad reaction, so it's all toxic.

  • @7thrx

Be scientific....hearsay is a hazard to healthy living!

  • what does ur tatt say?

  • Comment removed

  • can you see the uv part in normal light?

  • Comment removed

  • @ploopsy666 Yes and no. Your skin is being altered so there is scaring. Also, keep in mind that the bigger the tattoo the more it shows. My one arm is completely covered in tribal and you can see it in the daylight but not very well. Most people have to take a double take and then ask why my arm looks odd. They never can quite put their finger on what's up with my arm. Just something to think about.

  • anyone know a place in the bronx where to get uv tattoo?

  • i have one on my left hand its music notes (feel free to copy haha jk) but nah fo real i got it like 2 months ago and you cud see it its like wen u cut urself but it leaves a mark like a little scar so my skin is like i guess shiny and im not sure if its gonna go away i was hoping for it to only show under the black light but idk i guess im happy with it hahaha its addictive im 17 and i have 6 tattoos and i started on september and ima get another one on january 3rd I CANT STOP!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

  • Stay away from direct sunlight if u want the scar marks to disappear.....otherwise sun tann it to keep the marks.

Sunlight cause scars to turn to a darker than skin tone.

Addictive? Nay....tattoos are not addictive, EGO is.

  • @MickalAngelus well iv got 2 and i say its all in the head, if youv got the money to get tatts you just love the feeling of needle ramming thru your skin prob 1000times a mint it gave me a rush first time i got a tat done i went back for another, now i want another, soo

  • i'm going to make one soon ^^

  • they should make this effect in the movie "the last airbender"(you know, the arrows all around his body...)

  • not only was that stupid since these are actual tattoos, but why coat somebody in ultraviolet ink when you can just cg it in?

  • true

  • that is so cool!!!!

but how much would something like that cost???

  • this is nice... the first uv tattoo I've seen that's not a skeleton thank god... people who get bones and skeletons for uv tattoo is too common. ur tattoo should be something unique, ur tattoo and something that actually means something to you imo. getting something that every other person has seems so... I don't know, boring and overrated. Now I'm wondering if anybody with uv tattoos has gotten a uv tattoo that doesn't glow blue.

  • Aperkins07

FYI.... UV inks comes in assorted colors.

Visit my facebook album... i believe i have posted one picture of a Ganesh tattoo i did with colored UV inks.

  • I know they come in assorted colors, but I just haven't seen anyone get anything other than blue except for one picture of an orange like fire tribal tattoo. No one on youtube seems to have posted up a uv tattoo that doesn't glow blue either. If you could send me a link or whatever your facebook account is, I'd be glad to look at it.

  • @DRAGONIRONFIST jaja yeah...that'be cool...but they'd have to make a UV effect every time he got to the avatar state XD

  • omg i want oneee Dx

  • TUFF!!!!!

  • Fuck I Want One Like Now But Im 12 :P

  • I got a tattoo when I was 13 :P

  • :P Yeaa Now Im 13

  • it si true the cancer thing about this?

  • I'm getting a UV tattoo for free provided I get my mate some UV ink

Anybody suggest some good stuff that won't fuck me up xD

I read somewhere that Chameleon(?) was good and it wasn't too expensive

20quid a bottle is a lot cheaper than how much getting it done professionally would

Even tho she is pro nearly ^^

  • im gettin inked up on saturday how muck its it to get filled with uv ink instead of color???

  • first make sure it is WHITE UV ink.... and your tattooist is pro..... not using you for his first try. excessive bleeding cause scaring and lost of ink.

2nd, u make sure there is no scar by not picking it!

3rd, get into the sun (tan) to return your skin to its normal tone.

in about 7 weeks..... it probably look as normal as it was before u got the UV tattoo. this is not a promise becos i am not the one working on your tat. :)

  • what does it say?

  • @MickalAngelus working on a tan immediately after getting a UV reactive tattoo is a bad idea. the ink reacts to the light, making it duller and duller.

  • i want to get a UV tatoo of like, a skeleton arm ON my arm but im trying to find out if its possible to get it done so it's invisible under normal light and only visible under a darklight cuz that would be BALLIN lol. you walk into a club lookin normal then all of a sudden you look like a skeleton? freaken kick ass!

  • yea lke is tht possible bcz i want a tat bt lke a surprise one lke whoa!!1 is she glowin!?!? frekn awesome!!! i want somethin mean nd funnay maybe a sex joke or w/e

  • @zackdavis1 You need to find a very good tattooist that you have alot of faith in, because if there is scarring done initially then everyone will be able to see it. There is clear UV ink [doesn't show in normal light] and it's available in a variety of colours [white to purple] that only show under a blacklight.

  • @zackdavis1 thats the way it does work, there will be a scar from the proceedure itself for afew months but then its virtually invisible. there are also other kinds that are visible in normal light and glow in black light( what you saw in this vid). But ya, some are invisible in normal light and only show up in black light. Its way more expensive than a reg tattoo though.

  • @zackdavis1 Well they have to dig into the skin deep enough to put the ink in, so i would imagine they would look like bad scars under normal light.... I'm not sure how noticeable it would be, but you would expect some trace of it under normal light

  • :O

  • just remember...the UV tattoo must be the last piece of work in the area.

pending on your design...i cant ans that last qns.

  • Is it possible to get a regular black ink tattoo and then get a UV/Blacklight tattoo of something completely different over it and the 2 tattoos not interfere or distort with each other???

  • try it n let us know how it went :)

  • haha it's cool lol a blashlight when you need one XD. The only thing is you have to get it done by a very skilled tattooist because the ink is very hard towork with and can end up "blochie" because it is harder to spread.

  • wow you can do something like Tron characters tattoo

    it would be cool :D

  • that's what I want done on my hands

  • this is so cool. In daylight no one can see it, but when you go to the club you start glowing with circuits/runes/symbols ect. this should be amazing

  • I would do some kind of circuit board on my arm.

  • simple ans is yes. technical speaking, we have to look into your healing capabilities and skin condition....and the damage your tattooist may induced plus your own picking habit.... it (scar) may be raised aboved skin.

  • is the "scar" really noticible?

  • can you see this tattoo if youre not under a black light?

  • it is black light dependent..... so no black light means NOTHING to see BUT if u pick, U HAVE SCAR TO LOOK AT!!!

  • amazing, man. just amazing.

  • I want the bones on the back of my hand put in UV ink on my hand

  • that is so fucking cool... really, the design and placement and everything... really want a UV tat myself.

  • i have one down my whole back, but u cant see it during the day. and i love going clubing and showing it off. i like urs alot too.

  • I have a few questions for anyone who cares to answer them...

How long does it take to heal?

Can you see ANYTHING of the tattoo in daylight (if it is just UV and not with a normal tattoo).

Otherwise this is v v cool

  • The future is here... O.O

  • UV tattoo'in aint been around long so few places dont have it atm but they will order in if u ask for one

  • Soy de argentina , Alguien me puede decir donde hacen tatuajes UV ?

  • I cant say I have not though of this but I'm glad this exists!

  • no, not every place! Only go to proper shops.

    To take precausion.

  • This is humanities greatest invenion

  • Does every tattoo place carry UV Ink?

  • omg *-*
