Some of the choreography reminds me of the work of Matt Eks and I have enjoyed his versions of Swan Lake, Carmen etc. Don't forget the Michael Bourne was only copying Matt when he introduced male swans! Thanks for posting I have just ordered the DVD. In comparing new and old I loved the clips of Darcy Bussell in the conventional version too.
Thank you for your comments. It's always a pleasure to communicate with a person who knows many ballet performances. And you ordered a dvd - great, then my mission is accomplished : ) I'll check out the choreographer you have mentioned, I'm not familiar with him. But I find this style refreshing and it will be wonderful to watch new things. Thank you.
the style is very interesting. It seems to have a pinch of classical ballet, but this is quite contemporary... I'm no expert on the subject. What do people think?
Superb. Bravo Aurelie and Manuel. Thank you for this sumiregusa23. Please buy the dvd as I did ,it is a unique dance piece of dance. John Neumeier is an inspiring choreographer.
