@joker6236 I've been doing this for 15 years and it hasn't yet. Everyone's hair is different though. If you aren't positively certain you can live with the results then don't do it.
@crazzysplash67 most people definitely should not use 40 volume but I have never ever heard of or had a hair dresser say to rub bleach on like shampoo! Where did you learn that?
@candeelion haha i honestly dont know iv been studying bleaching and coloring for about 6 months now and usually i found that if u dont put enough bleach on then it wont be able to come in contact with ur hair as good as it should and by the way srry if i sounded a lil rued lol dident mean to i was just tired hope we can keep in touch :3

wow people that are tryin to say you overprocessed obviiously no nothing about doing hair. They need to leave there "tips" to themselves. I think it looks perfect!
The biggest mistake you made was overprocessing your hair with bleach. I started with dark blond hair. *Iv been dying my hair for YEARS its been all colors* and literally I used Dream Blonde bleach hairdye, and I got a white blonde/slightly yellow. Second use I got the whitest blonde, without yellow. I used purple shampoo all the time. You shouldof invested in better products, because it couldof saved your hair alot of damage
@Independentness - wow you didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I'm platinum blond now. What works for one person doesn't always work for another. The products I purchased were actually pro products.

putting bleach on top of bleached hair damages your hair really bad... isn't that why they make toners to take out the brassy color, bleach is for roots
Well I didn't like the blond that I had and the only way to make it a lot lighter is bleach. There are high lift colors but for they don't work so well.
I have ALWAYS had this question: Can you bleach your hair with regular bleach? Meaning Clorox or other bleach brands. PLEASE someone answer this! Thanks Bunchiies. And Your Hair Is HAWT<3
it can make you hair orage but is not gonna make it blonde,,,, i did it with preoxide when i was little the one you use for cuts, and I have very darrk browjn hair, it made it very copper lol so ugly thanks god i just did a strand lol.... save some money and get some at sally is only like 15 to 20 dollars, with redical bleach is 10 dollars and toner 5 dollars 30 volume developer 2 dollars so yeahh
I learned through watching you and personal experience that pink is a hard color to bleach out completely. I had pink all-over and it faded.I had a copper color put on it to try and cover it. The pink still shined through the copper. I bleached it later and it turned blonde with some pink STILL in it. I used hot oil treatments to get the leftover pink out. It worked. It was a semi-permanent dye though. Pink is hard to bleach.

Peroxide is the same as developer - you mix the developer with the bleach. I would never even dare to put clothes bleach on my hair.
