@VenuraW I doubt you can go from nothing to 450 mil in 3 weeks, and even if you could, you have to pay for the first month (15$ + 5$ subscription fee), and only after that you can use plex, if you can afford it offcourse...
For all you complainers that got griefed, thats part of the game. If you don't like it well, don't play. Everyone gets griefed. You have to think before you do something in this game as well.

@BLACKIESBOY i have not played for lone my PC is crap to play games on it but i played the trial. it starts off slow and if you die your dead to continue you need to create a clone and store it which costs a fuck load of money to keep it to your level. The game starts off very slow so be patient. The game is geared more towards patent people who will do the tedious tasks to get the great rewards. The people who constantly bash have no patience for it.

2/ as many as your able to put in! its not wow it requires a bit of commitment and perserverance! its with out no shadow of a doubt the harshest game to start out in.
3/ go buy it dont give up on the standard 1 month trial as one month is not even close to enough time to experience even a fraction of this game. it took me a good 5 months before i started to experience the real eve online. for your first 3-4 weeks you will be learning the basics in SAFE!!! space lol

@eskimodude812 its not wow!!! you cant just create a charecter and follow a quest chain to level 90!!! your abilities and skills are not laid out before you!!! your choices decision and time speant playing are the main factors of how good you will be at the game.. eve requires intelect lots of thought and caution. its a very tactical and tactful ,diplomatic, mind fuck with some of the most epic pvp battles you will ever encounter in any video game ever created. it really tests team work!!

The only thing that would get me back into EVE is if they ended the constant dirty, Cheap, gay gate camping.It's a good game but there's practically no LIFE for solo players or small corps with gate camping going on all the time by BIG corps who can afford to do ti and lose ships doing it. Back then the game was not so user friendly. The game was different then...Remember warping to everything at 15km unless you had bookmarks? Solo PVPing was possible, you could find people to kill anywhere. If you kept up with the game, you learned all the new exploits like old nanophoons haha. Game gets old after a few years though.
Now is a good time to get into eve, upgrade to a full account and get some free items (implants, ships), and they're selling 6 months for the price of 3.
To sweeten the pot a bit more, I'll send out an extended trial invite, and give 200 million ISK to anyone who upgrades that trial to a full account

@stefmor90 yeah i did return so i could spin a few new ships, i guess the game is more exciting when you're more into it, in an alliance etc, but to be honest ccp seems to give little focus on making eve fun, a lot more focus on milking the economy and pushing up plex prices with vanity items.
It used to be a real unique game, it still is, but it's going nowhere fun,and now we know how ccp will be treating us.. okay muust...stop ranting

Great video. I've attempted Eve about 8 times since it began. I was there in beta. I returned after it went live, then sporadically I would play. I love the attention to detail, game mechanics, the concept of even pvp... but what kept making me quit was it just got boring for me. I think those that stay in Eve, get plugged in to the core of it. Which I've never found out how to do that. on one occasion I did join a corp - but again, I left. I'm currently in a 14 day trial.

I'm trying to fruck up the business of can flipping, therefore, while mining the good stuff for yourself, jettison only regular cans with junk in them, such as 1 unit of Veldspar per can. You want rat flippers to open them to discover their shit. If enough people do this, can flippers can bet on flipping junk cans at some point. There really is only one solution: never jettison to feed the rats, but profits take more time.

@imicusdown ok, ok, you're entitled to your own opinion, but EVE has had what? like 23 expansions and upgrades? including a completely new engine! oh and you'd be surprised at the amount of people incapable of understanding eve and who therefore decide to hate it.

@Hoschi0913 Not sure how you can say that... if the technology was available back then David Braben's classic would have been Eve. Possibly a bit of nostalgia involved in your post? play elite now and its easy to see that eve is the better game.
just because eve is a massive multiplayer online game ,doesnt neccassarly mean it is better game than elite (even with better grafics) ,for example in elite you have to dock yourself until you made enough to effort a docking computer,dont have that in eve,in elite you can land on any (solid) planet and do some minning,cant do that in eve,but most importanly you have the entire galaxy (with all the real names and positions) we live in to exlpore,dont have that in eve
one day, when warfare is really like this, people are gonna say things like "i miss the hand-to-hand stuff :/" at which point, battle mechs will be created and deployed instead of fighter ships :D
CCP should really go back to making these kinds of trailers with genuine in-game footage. The last trailer I really enjoyed was the Empyrean Age. Everything newer is so over produced. These trailers helped make EVE what it is today.

@stefmor90 yeah i did return so i could spin a few new ships, i guess the game is more exciting when you're more into it, in an alliance etc, but to be honest ccp seems to give little focus on making eve fun, a lot more focus on milking the economy and pushing up plex prices with vanity items.
It used to be a real unique game, it still is, but it's going nowhere fun,and now we know how ccp will be treating us.. okay muust...stop ranting

Great video. I've attempted Eve about 8 times since it began. I was there in beta. I returned after it went live, then sporadically I would play. I love the attention to detail, game mechanics, the concept of even pvp... but what kept making me quit was it just got boring for me. I think those that stay in Eve, get plugged in to the core of it. Which I've never found out how to do that. on one occasion I did join a corp - but again, I left. I'm currently in a 14 day trial.

I'm trying to fruck up the business of can flipping, therefore, while mining the good stuff for yourself, jettison only regular cans with junk in them, such as 1 unit of Veldspar per can. You want rat flippers to open them to discover their shit. If enough people do this, can flippers can bet on flipping junk cans at some point. There really is only one solution: never jettison to feed the rats, but profits take more time.

just because eve is a massive multiplayer online game ,doesnt neccassarly mean it is better game than elite (even with better grafics) ,for example in elite you have to dock yourself until you made enough to effort a docking computer,dont have that in eve,in elite you can land on any (solid) planet and do some minning,cant do that in eve,but most importanly you have the entire galaxy (with all the real names and positions) we live in to exlpore,dont have that in eve

CCP should really go back to making these kinds of trailers with genuine in-game footage. The last trailer I really enjoyed was the Empyrean Age. Everything newer is so over produced. These trailers helped make EVE what it is today.
