In all this game, the devil is losing and at the end will be accused of everything because GOD don’t want any rivals. Conclusion: live at the full in the freedom of GOD (praying in a right form, following the INSTRUCTIONS in the Bible - keeping the 10 commandments - including keeping the Saturday as the 7th day etc.) instead of in the incapacity and limited power of devil because he is just a temporary puppet. Jesus Christ is our savior and our hope!
why is everyone so shocked, genocide is nothing new, its barbaric, but humans have been commiting such acts against one another since we have been on this planet, or has everyone forgotten the nazis and their atrocities against lesser peoples. not to mention all those before the 20th century began.
this planet contains a vast ethnic diversity of human beings and genocide, war will go on no matter how appalling it may seem, we are just not able to live together in peace.
UN couldn't care less about these Tutsi people. Hell, they were not even considered "niggers".
"UN would break their own rules if they have intervened" BULLSHIT! The UN was supposedly created to prevent genocides from happening (I guess for white folks only).
Clinton sadden? Ha!
Remember his press secretary?: "..I'm not in the position to say that what is ocurring in Rwanda is genocide..."
My Sociology teacher shared this video with her class in my first trimester of school. It definately brought awareness to the class, and it was very well done. Good job. 5/5
Hillary Clinton cried recently in public when it seemed her dream of being a US President was about to end.
No tears for the victims of Rwanda? Not sad enough for her that hundreds of thousands of women were raped and 800,000 blacks were butchered.
What would have happened if you had put your feminist hat on and disagreed publicly with your husband's policy of helping whites in Kosovo and abandoning blacks in Rwanda?
Agree DeChiu. Why should US blamed for non-intervention.If they interfere it will be called white man's burden.
Look at Gujarat after Godhra in state pogram. India's central govt. didn't bother to intervene.Ultimately it is up to every community to educate themselves to raise above race, class, religion, caste etc. on balance, effective UN action could have saved lot of lives.
If US was found wanting, why couldn't people from these countries proactively do something.
There wasnt too much the UN could do without breaking their own rules, if at any time the Government told the UN to get out, they had to, they couldnt fire unless they got fired upon first, and if 1 of the 5 winning sides of WW2 voted against taking action they couldnt do anything.
This tragic incident proves beyond a reasonable doubt how impotent the U.N. body really is. It takes no action unless ordered (or pressured) by countries of extreme power and clout, and only if it is beneficial for that specific country. How blind soldiers can be in thinking they are doing their patriotic duty by serving in the military, when in fact they are risking their lives for those that crave power and prestige.
instability insued. UNSecurityCouncil/Clinton administration REFUSED to call the actions genocide, while MOFOs got hacked to death. The most crazy/surreal moment 4me during the 3months was ABC's Nightline showing a river that was CRIMSON. As an African-American, no no leader of any race/nationality as far as I could see did/said anything. Post-Holocaust, there was this hype about NEVER EVER letting a genocide happen on Earth again. Bullshiit.
The Ruandans are black...that's BLACK...and BC and friends didn't give a cr*p about these people. Notice the doubletalk from Albright? He just put it off long enough to sound like he cares to the stupid and he's home free. Well, there is a God, and vengeance is His.
america,,,,hummmmmmmmm well Rwanda did not have oil, it was to be expected. this will happen to any country which does not have what the US wants.. look to Sudan
yup! believe it!... but i have to say its always puzzled me how everything bad that happens in the world is fault of the US... you saw the movie "we think you're dirt" is true, not literally, figuratively, anything not happening to them doesn't concern anyone but the person to who its happening to...if that makes sense, whats funny is how the US gets screamed at for helping countries and screamed at for not helping countries...
@kingbiff18 Well he was the president at the time, and he did NOTHING to help the Rwandans being massacred. He apologised (after the genocide had officially ended) for not intervening but that does not make his lack of involment right.

You need to google and check out what O's cousin Raila Odinga's letting go on in Kenya right now.
Then ask yourself, why is he not saying anything.
averitas 4 years ago
Thank you. What is happening in Kenya right now is also being ignored apparently, though it is not on the scale of Rwanda.
