  • Say what one will about this man but he was a fellow Cheesehead!! He NEVER forgot that Wisconsin is where things started for him. The man could make a piano talk!!

  • He looked like crap at the beginning of this video. That must have been right before he died. And, anyone who couldn't tell he was gay is blind and deaf.

  • does anyone know the song he is playing at :15?

  • @masseyharris441 I'll be seeing you. It was'nt his song, but he adopted it as his theme song

  • this music is fabulous at 2:26!!!!! who is playing this? or what band? the in house orchestra at hilton? Is there a way to get this video of this show?

  • this boy was made for the world

  • he loved the glam and glitter and was perfect at it

  • Who was the world's greatest showman, a phenomenal musician, and, by all accounts, a very gracious gentleman? Liberace. Of course.

  • Interesting that the cause of his death was not mentioned--reflects the times that HIV was taboo----very sad....

  • Well he sure couldn't sing for shit.......I saw him at Radio City Music Hall once wearing HOT PANTS.....Jeeez....wasted my $ that night

  • Mental note: White dude, long before rappers made mad money took bling to the level never to be repeated!

  • Impeccable! Can we honor him by saving the museum in Las Vegas...

  • Michael Jackson's life and the issues over his death in may ways resembled Liberace's. Liberace in someways probably was an inspiration to MJ.

  • @GTBurns48215 - You are right Michael Jackson was inspired by Liberace. The only problem was Michael got a little to close with him and slept with Leberace's boyfriend, Scott Thorson.

  • This guy had a crazy sense of humor, he even appeared on Bat Man in the 1960's. Such great musical talent!

  • Why is it that in the 80's all the homosexuals were turning up with HIV? I'm not implying that it was a homosexual disease or anything or that homosexuality was its origin but thats just interesting

  • @MsLoveMe27 The gay community from what I remember was smaller and closer knit (Less open). You would then statistically be more likely to have sex with someone then, with an infection. E.g. starting out with a population of 100 people on an island and 10000 people on another island, with 1 person infect on each island. The % of infected within the population rises quicker in the smaller group. Eventually both get to 100%, just the smaller group quicker. The hetro population would catch up...

  • I propose LIBERACE ice-cream flavors!

Genius. Sadly missed. He was allergic to butter.

  • He was very talented!

  • a true entertainer! You always got the impression he enjoyed performing and no matter how flashy or ridiculous the theatrics were, you got the sense that it was okay to indulge in some silliness.

  • Seemed like a nice guy.

  • He and Elvis were friends.....Two Great Showmen..

  • Can you honestly believe that some women thought he was sexy and Straight? Rip dude.

  • Yes I do believe it, look at Barry Manilow and his following, he's no oil painting either !!!

  • @Breeslave I think he was attractive though I always knew he wasn't straight. He was rather good looking when he was young thats just IMO

  • It's I'll Be Seeing You, 92jpc

  • so sad :( He was not only one of the most talented people of all time but also one of the nicest. He was one of a kind

  • Very tastefully done....peace be with you Lee....long live Mr.Showmanship!!!

  • Liberace has gone on to tiptoe through the tulips with Tiny Tim!

  • a one of a kind gentalmen they dont make them like that anymore what a sweet soul

  • wow, i want that piano!!!

  • I bet that piano costs more than a house.

  • Thank you for this memorable tribute to a dear man and GREATentertainer. He brought so much joy into my life and it was a pleasure to know him.

  • the king of bling, well before bling was was even thought of.

  • no rapper has anything on this man!!!

  • @markmarshall39 agreed

  • There is no doubt that this guy was the king of bling or showmanship. These rap artists were not the first to drive on stage with a car. Liberace was one of the first to do this.

  • Thank you for posting this.

    He was an incredible talent.

  • A kind and gentle man.
