Slightly better than stock. Grouping at 100 yards is typically about 2" wide by 4" high. Not too shabby for a 6x scope and a fat 44 slug puttering along at only 950 fps.
@tito1rocks Yea, but your pellet rifle pellet weighs between 6 and 10 grains. The SWC bullets I am shooting weigh 214 grain. Of course I COULD load them up to 1300 fps, but then they would be supersonic and generate a sonic crack. I load them to 950 so they are subsonic under any and all conditions.
Nope, need the scope up there so I can compensate for the drop at extended ranges. The mount is shimmed to give me several MOA of extra elevation.
Before I sent the gun in to have the suppressor fitted I was shooting accurately at 200 yards with hand-loaded subsonic 44 mag. Semi-accurately at 300.
Need to get the scope sighted in better this weekend.
I know : P (I'm also the SM at ST so I've followed the thread). Don't wish we could live in a country where everyone found that dead beaver on your head more remarkable than the exquisite piece you're demonstrating?
Where did you find the Picatinny rail?

Beautiful weapon sir! Where did you send it to obtain such an excellent suppressor? How much did the rifle/silencer cost?

@imiritu
The suppressor was installed by TD Manufacturing. The suppressor conversion cost $800 including disassembly tools.

I've gotten more comments about the hat than the gun.

LOL, yea it would be nice if that were true.
Don't worry, you're not the only one who has commented on the hat.
