  • Interesting! Never thought of using pumpkin in my hummus recipe!

  • What is...ummm...Pemin tone? I don't even know how to say it. That stuff with the Dried Chipolte Powder?

  • Hummus is awesome. I am vegetarian and this is so useful.

  • it sounds wonderful. i should try it out soon. yummy.

  • does this taste sweet? if not, is there any way to make a sweet hummus? like with mangoes and cinnamon or something like that?

  • @CenturianRule You can go to our website at everydaydish(dot)tv for the printable recipe

  • Wonderful dish! but can't always understand her words. It would help if she didn't mumble her words at times.

  • Wow, love your recipes! I'm vegan and I just discovered your channel! :) Awesome stuff!

  • now is this the plain pumpkin or the spiced pumpkin puree? can't wait to try! :D

  • ingredient measurements would probably help

  • I always add olive oil to my hummus, it gives it a very urban feel.

    Arabic taste

  • *keep

  • hey =) how long can i ceep this in the fridge..how many days???

  • Thanks for the great dish, you are an angel... Just one question...can I use fresh pumpkin....do I need to cook the pumpkin before I put that in blender?

  • Yes, you could use fresh pumpkin, but it definitely needs to be cooked and pureed first (without the skin, seeds and other fibrous strings and seeds in pumpkins).

  • what kind of beans does she mean chickpeas.....?

  • @37mamak Garbonzo beans and chickpeas are the same thing.

  • thanks very much ...i'm not english /american =) thanks

  • thanks so much for all the great recipes.. i recently turned vegan from vegetarian and love cooking, so it was really cool to see something like this. your gorgeous, keep it up!

  • Aww, thanks!

  • wow sexy lemon thing :P what is the name of it :O??

  • I simply don't understand your "tips". How is it better to put the garlic in later? If the rest gets mixed fine, then why wouldn't the garlic be?

I'd say the chance of the garlic mixing BEST is the more time it has in the mixer.

  • what are the amounts??

  • apparently you can use cummin and paprika in pumpkin hummus as well. great vid btw. ur cute too! u should make more vids. peace.

  • Oops, I'm embarrassed. I missed the website info. Questions answered.

  • Does anyone have the specific amts of each ingredient? And, what was the spice mentioned with the smoked chipotle powder? I didn't catch that. Thanks!

  • Go to everydaydish (dot) tv

  • Yumyumyum!! For a pumpkin enthusiast like me, this sounds amazing!! Can't wait to try making it!

  • Wow! I make hummus in a similar way but never though of adding pumpkin. When I was in Germany I tried some fabulous paprika spread. The main ingredient was hulled sunflower seeds. Have you ever tried anything like that.

  • I haven't tried anything like the paprika spread, but it sure sounds good!

  • The recipe can be found on our website (everydaydish (dot)tv -just click on the recipes (right side of the page) and you can print it out.

It's a really nice hummus, kind of smoky tasting. It also makes a great appetizer.

  • Sounds like a delicious, yet different recipe to make. I'll try this one.

You didn't mention how much of each ingredient you are adding, except for the pinch of salt. Is that a whole can of beans? How much tahini?

  • wow cool i cant wait to try this at home! =) thanks
