The purpose is to take all that money we spend on lottery tickets and donate it to creating this. Your response is one of admirable honesty Zslam. Contemporary dance they call this, and its usually a pretty embarrassing form.. There are exceptions but they are rare..I think good art should be able to speak out to anyone open to recieve it. This does not, and im someone who has studied it in depth.

Thank you Markoc99 Actually I've seen this live and I found my self transcending no deeper than the state I entered in, meaning as an experience it took me nowhere. Also thank you for taking the time to correct my trivial spelling mistake. This for me perhaps highlights the way you view and access things. Everything must be correct if one is to take it serious. I suspect if Akram and most dance artists were allowed to make mistakes then perhaps British dance may progress beyond this.

in response to the derrogatory comments,does a peice always have to 'take' you somewhere?This is quite frankly disconnected the whole way through and rather contradictory!I beleive Khan is under no pressure but his own explorative need to create his work.The majority of informed viewers have found his work original and such comments show you clearly are not 'open to receive it'.Its a joke that you can be that rude about an extremely prominant art form, and doesnt lend itself to wider knowledge.

you should really see the whole performance, it is totally amazing! what do you mean when you say such a thing like that?

Well it's almost same thing with jazz music as this kind of stuff. It's weird and not so cool. And althought i think that this dance does not need any skill it's just like you learn some weird movement and you do it(ok i'm not so shore about that but still) and again it seems like it's somecind of phsyco stuff or something like that.
