If you've ever been in a fight then you'd know it's not difficult to tell if start to reach for something. They were in the middle of the fight. Arms entangled, once he reaches for something you'd know. Secondly, the second you pull your gun out and you see the guy it's not gonna be hard to see he doesn't have a pistol in his hand and just put yours down or at least not shoot it
