the levies are pointless unless miamisburg learns to stop wasting money. i cant believe they are spending money to bring it back up in may, only to have it shot back down.
@shadowzard7 - Miamisburg Schools do not pay for levy campaigning. That is done through private donations and unlimited hours of volunteer time. I would be real interested to see how else you think the school system waste money. Please get the facts before making judgements. I encourage you to talk to Dr. Jackson or a board member so that you truly understand the facts.
well hm let me think, what is the point of making an electronic board outside of medler view when hardly anybody is ever out there in the first place, oh yeah, building on to the offices in mhs? why build on to them when you could improve something important like classroom improvements?on topic of mhs. building on to it? our gym is fine already. and fyi, they may not pay for the campaigning, but they DO pay to actually bring back up the ballot. otherwise they could do it every other month

Miamisburg teachers are great! I have nothing bad to say about them. Not sure how you got my email. hmmmm Hope the levies pass. If there was any confusion not sure how it got started.
I find it really sad that the negative comments didn't take the time to say the kids did a nice job filming on their own time their concerns about what a failed levy can do. Why negative? They did a great job and it just a shame some people have to find negative in positive things people try to do for the community on their own time with their own resources. Way to support your community!
we were trying to go for the "our classes our going to be overcrowded because the levies didn't pass and large classes make for a difficult learning environment" feel. we weren't trying to make students or teachers look bad.
Are these students the ones that we've paid $100,000+ to educate for their 12-13 yrs in school. What about dress code for the teachers!! jeans! and t-shirts!! do they really get any respect dressing that way?
@cyclesecy umm are you sure you understand the "teacher" in the video is a student?? And even "IF" the teacher did dress like that it doesnt matter because they are teaching those kids one of the best quality educations in the Miami Valley. And just to let you know teachers at MHS DONT dress like that :)
Msbg Salsa - It appears to me they need to hire teachers that can "handle" the students. Also, why couldn't they bring their seating/desks from the other classroom instead of sitting on each others laps. What's with the girl on the cell phone during class!!
@cyclesecy Looks like you havent been to MHS because the teachers "handle" the students very well. This isnt a real video what goes on in it doesnt refelct what goes on at MHS. You need to talk a chill pill and stop being so negative over a student made video showing, all that the class sizes will increase and learning will be affected if the levy doesnt pass.Just because they did it in this videodoesnt mean it goes on at Miamisburg.If youve been to the school we dont have room to add more desk
imo: freeze teacher salaries, renegociate teacher union contracts as needed, increase health ins deductables for all staf.

Miamisburg teachers are great! I have nothing bad to say about them. Not sure how you got my email. hmmmm Hope the levies pass. If there was any confusion not sure how it got started.
