The Whale was too curious? I think it's the other way round.....thought I'd enjoy this looking up old Cousteau footage, I adored the books I had of him as a kid - Absolutely beautiful footage interspersed with disturbing brutality to be honest

Dans ce film, le commandant Cousteau et son équipe ont dynamité une barrière de corail (pour identifier et comptabiliser les cadavres des espèces marines, seule méthode à l'époque, et non pour pêcher), éperonné un cachalot, harponné un bébé requin et chahuté une bande de tortues.
"Le commandant Cousteau a su révéler au monde les beautés sauvages, mais fragiles, des océans. Cependant, son film apparaît aujourd’hui comme écologiquement indéfendable…."

yes tomtom2 but there are lots of good dive stories on the net too. My favorite site is the myscubastory site. They have scuba accident videos, shark ecounter dive videos, lost buddy stores, lots of true dive stories, and more. Type myscubastory into google and its the first one. Enjoy !

Cousteau later became more environmentally conscious, involved in marine conservation, and was even called "the father of the environmental movement" by Ted Turner

@ValAktaion The baby whale was hit by Calypso accidentaly, when the whale was too curious. They were tried to avoid the accident, but unfortunatelly failed. The baby whale fatally injured, hence they decided to give him a finisher shot.
