  • Looks more like a midfoot strike.

  • When I first started walking barefoot, I was doing a very gentle heel strike with short strides, but I'm finding my legs starting to walk like this, with a more forefoot landing and my leg reaching out in front more.

  • @SuperApparition One would say that your smug comment is that of an obese socialite trying to cope with low self esteem, while trying to fit status quote by mocking the actions and teachings of others. It would also appear that your injuries are coming from your excessive body weight. Not the shoes. Its always easier to mock, judge, and criticize others before first looking in the mirror. So stop blocking progression with your ignorant comments and find yourself. Good luck in loosing the weight!

  • it looks like hes decelerating

  • I like how everyone thinks they are "forefoot" strike experts now LOL. You guys are losers who probably only started running barefoot 2weeks ago, please just shut up and stop pretending you know anything about running technique.

  • @jurn77 #POW #SWAGG

  • Midfoot + high arch.

  • in my country (PHL) having no shoes is always associated with extreme poverty. i think the barefoot walkers/runnners society must address this psychological problem associated with shoes. they should call the attention of the government specially those of developing countries like ours to provide safe and clean footpaths instead of building expensive unsafe roads. after all walking is the oldest mode of transportation. barefoot runners/walkers for equal rights.

  • @gilbertbuena

I regret to say that but any American-based society doesn't bother a sh¡t about the problems in developing countries, you should know this by now (remember what happened with the advice to use infant formulas to replace breast milk while in the developed countries they were pushing breastfeeding). If you want any changes in your countries you'd better push them yourselves, don't expect any useful external help.

  • @heathmoor i totally agree with this, and i'm an american

    we suck

  • In my country the Philippine Islands (P.I.) we grew up without running shoes. we have only a thin rubber slippers for our sole protection. and we played and ran on all types of ground surfaces. Then came the malt milk company who promoted marathon as part of their corporate advertisements and they started giving out shoes to all school boys and girls. having no shoes in our country is always associated with extreme poverty. children cry specially at christmas time if they do not have shoes.

  • If this is an elite Kenyan runners, then what's his name?

  • oh wow, that is exactly how my foot lands :)

  • this is midfoot

  • who is he????

  • Beautiful

  • It looks more like a midfoot strike to me...

  • @fireonthemountain333 that was a forefoot strike, you don't need to exaggerate the foot position. His form is perfect, forefoot strike, brief contact with perfect knee and foot positioning heel to ass, very efficient, very safe.
