There's this Scottish Terrier living down the block at our spot, her name is Lady Gaga (yeah, seriously) Now I don't have much with 'lapdogs' but she's soooo mindblowing cute -.-'
there is a dog at my college that has been bred from yogie. hes lovely! and so glad yogie won, he seems really healthy! which is impressive for a dog in crufts standards.
Oh, and I find it slighty embarrassing that a native British isles breed like the Scottie was won by a RUSSIAN dog...whats wrong with our breeding! Well done Scottie, we should be ashamed that we can't breed our own dgs to hat high standard!
the judges ought to be taken off the circuit for a year. This was always going to happen, from the moment yogi won Gundog group as the BIS judge had actually placed yogi 4 or 5 times that YEAR at various shows.
Ahhh, what a wonderful dog. I never would have thought a Hungarian Vizsla could win it, so I am totally surprised and overwhelmed. I am also a very proud owner of HV, called Ruby, and have to say that they are the most remarkable dogs in so many ways. They are rare, and I agree that this is part of their charm, but if there are more around, more people will have the opportunity to experience a sheer pleasure of owning one. Way to go, Yogi...way to go, Hungarian Vizsla's! :)
A wonderful dog! Congratulations Yogi! I too have a Vislza and am completely honoured to be in such a position. Completely agree with Sammyted1 about the possible undesirable increase in popularity for this wonderful but very sensitive, high energy and needy (in terms of exercise and companionship) breed. My only criticism is that the tail had been docked (now illegal in UK - and rightly so in my opinion too!).
This is an odd feeling - I have lived with at least one Vizsla since I was born in 1990, and have been watching Crufts for almost every year since I was four and have never even contemplated my own breed winning it - I am thrilled that the breed has the recognition it deserves. It is just a shame that they will become more mainstream like previous Crufts winners - part of their charm is their rarity.
Yogi is my Vizsla's granddad!

Yogi is lovely.
He deserved to win.
BUT

Same thing that happened last year.
But Well done Yogi! You deserved it!

What a fantastic result! 22,000 competitor dogs and 187 breeds... not that's a lot of competition!
