You really don't have a clue of what you're talking about. It has to do with their Armour, and at the time of this game, the spartans have yet to be upgraded with the Mark V (I think it is) armour. Same with MC during Halo CE.
The Mjolnir Mark IV armour that was used by spartans 2525-2552 did not have shields. All spartans during The battle of Reach had shields. They did not, how ever, have the Mark VI armour that eliminated the need of assistans when damaged, they simply didn't have automated biofome injectors.

The project was accelerated because of the dire situation and the spartans upcoming mission to capture a covenant prophet, which was scrubbed because of the invasion of reach. this video takes place two weeks before Halo CE. During Reach the Mark V armor was used, and the parts they found in CASTLE I believed was parts of the new Mark VI armor, because of the fact that the BR was the standard issue rifle shipped together with the VI armor.

no, reach was destroyed by the covenant that is why you see the exlosions and the master chief is the last spartan so there is no reach. so that is what happened to the spartans and why reach can not be the planet the chief is headed toward

What made you think this was an argument? I've read the books too, and only the Spartan Two's were in the battle for REACH. Their numbers are random because loads failed or died. There isn't even a Spartan 001, all the way up to 020. They died, as well as many many other Spartans before their combat release. The lowest Spartan number eventuallity was 021.

i have read the book . But a friend told me that this doesnt take place before halo 1. but the book does. This is suppose to take place between halo 2 and 3. Doesnt make sense. Uhm, there would be no life without the big bang, which is my point. Halo doesnt "Start" anywhere, it's based in the evolution and discovoveries of humankind, ecountering the covenant etc. Halo is a sci-fi based in our "universe"

If you wanna get technical, Halo actually would've started (In the games history) almost 117,000 years ago, and probably even longer than that (the oracle was bitching about no one showing up in Halo 1 for a long time, which was 100,000+ years)

The Masterchief wasn't born, he was a human until he was enrolled into this program that made him a super-soldier, a spartain. Then he was given special armor to fit his needs, to be invinsible

i have read the book . But a friend told me that this doesnt take place before halo 1. but the book does. This is suppose to take place between halo 2 and 3. Doesnt make sense. Cause most of the spartans die in reach only master chief and a hand full survive. but the hand full are kinda like going around to onix i believe or end up there eventually

First, Master Cheif was not built, the was trained then outfited with Mjonir Mark V armor(later changed to mark VI).
And he barely escaped this attack on the Pillar Of Autuum.

First, he was outfitted with the Mark I MJOLNIR armor (basically, the prototype. It lacked energy shields because humans didn't have the technology.) The next armor he used was Mark II, then Mark IV (Yes, Mark III armor was developed. No, it was never worn.) The Mark IV armor was the first to feature energy shields. At the time, these shields were just souped-up versions of Covenant energy shields, a technology gleaned from captured Jackal shield gauntlets. Mark V came next, then Mark VI.
