I'd say Shadow's should be a mx of Sonic's running (for obvious reasons), Knuckles' beat-em-up (because he's a more violent and "adult" version of sonic) and a little bit of Rouge's stealth (because he's an agent from GUN and would be on infiltration missions)

GODXD That Knasty Norc battle was hard when I was little. Once you died you had to start all the way to the beginning. I thought Heros Tale looked pretty good, but I hate the sound of Spyros voice. I like the voices of Spyros newest games, but I'm kind of upset that they took away the freeroamingness of the older games and replaced it with linear battles. Same with the Crash Bandicoot games. Warped is awesome and Twinsanity looks good (racing games too), but the ones with the titans seem dull.

Tails: Air combat/puzzle platformer game.

Knuckles: Beat’em up/treasure hunter action game; like Tomb Raider perhaps.

Shadow, Rouge & Omega: Espionage action game.

Big: Fishing video game.

Vector, Espio & Charmy: Detective RPG/action game.

Silver: Futuristic superhero action game.

Amy and Cream: Kirby-like game or some kind of girls’ game? Perhaps a children’s education game like Putt-Putt, Dora the Explorer, or Magic School Bus.

oh and on the subject of reboots (i need to watch the whole vid before making comments), i wouldnt recommend the spyro reboot, the graphics and vocie cast are nice but in terms of gamplay and the overall tone they pale in comparesin to the original trilogy

and for sonic, i think cancelling everything from adventure 2 battle onwards, except rush 1

lol, ive also 100% all the spyro games, and the game your thinking of is enter the dragonfly, which was like the 06 of spyro, it sucked major ass. there was no texture to anything, the voice acting was meh, and the game had slowdown issues, plus it had like no story, which even the ps1 games managed to pull off, so, 06 of spyro was born.

Not counting spinoffs such as the Storybook, Riders, and Rush series, the 'disregard story' thing actually gives Shadow a bit 'ol flatline in the canon.

I mean, think about it. Every one of the disregarded games and two of the spinoff series, Shadow was there.

But they aren't canon.

Which means Shadow is still dead.

Which means that he's still dead, and they can ignore the retcon they gave him when he came back.

Which means Shadow may actually, if he comes back, go back to his SA2 version.

i agree :D but to expand, Rogue should stealh more like a rogue than Epsio, I think he should be a faster stealh person, as for Shadow, I would make him like sonic, except give him WAY different places than sonic, also make him move differently like he could go from wall to wall running in like 2 seconds. Sandopolis was never as long, as hard, as boring or as shit as this level. Dusty Desert as Shadow and Silver borders on unplayable and that section with the sandwave is the final insult in a game already desperately lacking in redeeming features. Fucking awful level full stop.

And why you enjoy playing as Omega I will never know. He may be less broken than the other characters, but then so is Amy.

The reboot is meh, and the PS2 one was terrible. Glitches prevented me from playing. Spyro 1, 2, and 3 were awesome. You should do playthroughs of them. Oh yeah, and Crash Bandicoot is awesome. I dunno FTA. Starting over from Sonic 1. That would mean re-introducing Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Eggman, Shadow(he seems good enough to return), and a few(seldom) others.....
