  • They shouldn't call the music that plays on "country music" channels country anymore. Although I prefer more traditional western music you cannot replace great country artists with blond pop singers.

  • Take the top 10 Country radio songs of 1988 and play them. Then play the top ten "Country" songs of 2011 and say to yourself "What the hell happened to Country music?" You then remember that in 1990 Garth Brooks released "No Fences" and Country radio took a collective shit.

  • i need good man in my left

  • hes a great artist!!! suck wind HATERS!!!

  • People who say that they don't like country music, it's only because they haven't listened to this.

  • 0:08 seconds cool!

  • I was new to Nashville, arriving on a Sunday afternoon. I parked in front of the studio of my new job .. grabbed my briefcase and started walking in. I turned at the sound of a pickup coming up the street .. it was Rodney Crowell .. he slowed, looked at me, smiled and waved .... my first celebrity to greet me here.

  • this song holds dear to my heart for the one i will always love

  • LOL.......reading the comments on this page is like reading the lyrics to a stereotypical country song about losers reminiscing about their long lost loves!!

    Get over it losers!! LOL

  • @LTandDS You evedently haven't Loved Anyone or They Haven't Loved You!!

  • @LTandDS Wow, I made the mistake of misreading your post. Why don't you get over thinking that how someone else handles their grief has anything to do with you. If you don't like this kind of music, don't listen to it.

  • the comment guy below me has no hope of a new girlfriend. Loser you screwed up with your only hope

  • Great song & singer Thanks

  • there are only a handful of songs that manage to put into words the feelings that i have in my heart for my ex-wife, who i very foolishly let slip away many years ago when i was young & stupid, and this is one of them. so brenda lee, this song is for you because even AFTER ALL THIS TIME, YOU'RE ALWAYS ON MY MIND...and I STILL LOVE YOU and always will. and IN MY HEART, i am glad for your happiness NOW even if it's not with me because THAT IS ALL I EVER WANTED FOR YOU and always will. • I just bumped into a lady of my past, on line tonight, that we started almost 25 years ago, but it ended quick, without trying to work things out.

She has always been on my mind, for all these years, wondering how she was doing, and how things would have been, if we had just taken the time, to work things out between us.

Who knows, just maybe we can give things a try again, and see what happens, after all of this time.

  • Regardless if we have lost someone throught the years. 1 We will never forget them. 2 They will always be on our minds . 3 Never forget about what an impact they have left in our lives .4 Thanks to songs like this CLASSIC we can remember them and the joy they brought us .
