Gorgeous! My hair is natural too (almost 2 yrs since my chop) but I've been covering it up with caps n quick weaves. This just gave me the guts to lose the weave n wear my own hair. Did u use a whole pack of bobby pins to fasten ur hair in place? Lol I am scared abt it falling out and not being smooth on the sides if I tried this.

Shrinkage is the devil! I am almost two months post BC and if I put gel on my hair it's like when I first cut it. So I guess I have to wait until it gets longer. I am currenty pregnant so get to cheat with hair growth =)

Can you do a tutorial on how you did this style? And I don't get it. That Olive oil gel works OK on everyone else's hair, but it dried the shit outta mine?! And left some kinda nasty residue in my hair when I tried to wash it out.

@covegirl06 oh no... well it doesnt mix well at all with other products at all...ur hair has to be completely clean of product... it is also drying after a day or two..but it defines curls well... try using an oil with it...like jojoba or coconut...
