I feel a little weird hearing an 11 year old sing it... She does it great... but I don't think someone of age 11 can quite understand the context if you know what I mean.

She sings it lovely! Don't get me wrong. But... I don't think just ANYONE can sing the song. It has to be someone singing it that like... KNOWS every meaning of each word.
