@lollongman Ball Pythons may wrap around a person's neck, as long as the person has control of it. Snakes will not attack and go for the neck. Even if a Ball Python did, it could not kill a human.
Well atleast your jungle is tame, i recently got a 2 year old male one that was about a meter long but he was snappy so im swapping him today for a coastal hatchie :)
cool vid i hav a spotty he's on a juvenile and really nippy i was thinking of getting a carpet python to but there wasnt any at the pet store nice snake
taming sure... he was already tamed. mine dosent stop biting me ever and i hold it for 40 mins every day except 2 days after he eats... this guy is a real aggresive snake
@robertgordon69 do you think it would be ok to get a JCP as a first snake? even though they can be nippy, can you like get them to not be as nippy? lol
@jm9629 point 1: his is male so 7 foot is near impossible, 6 foot is almost as unlikely he should be looking at around 5 and a half feet for this little guy.
@justaburgscousin the two we have at work are mean too, the Iran Jaya carpets at work tag me more than any of the other animals, the jungles also make relatively snappy pets.
the thing about them is they can ALL be tamed to a degree the thing is that they never seem to tame past a certain point. Whereas we have Burmese and reticulated pythons that are tolerant of everything and anything (we even have a good tempered female rock python being bred to make cateaters) it's something about the genus
@BaileyAnne1 well the issue of what defines small is something that will never be solved. 90% of boas are mid sized (5-10ft) some female BCC hit 11-12ft but that's not a realistic expectation. However the Anaconda is considered a boa and the two species are why i put 90% instead of 100%
ok right now i mean no offense to you at all in any way but i think its funny how u said nippy at the beggining.. no offense.. good vid though.. helped me with my miami corn
why are so many kids on youtube ? this kids so young he cant even pronounce cobra listen near the start and you'll know what i mean not hatin' or nothing but come on at least wait till you know what your doing for fuck sake...no offense but doesn't anyone think this kids to young ?
Thep5cho1192, dude who the fuck cares man ?? hes a kid who knows about snakes why not make a video ? duhhh i mean im 12 and i dont even know how to put a video on youtube =( lol
i agree. im 11 and dont know how to put a video on utube, but i know a lot about snakes, and could easily make a video as good or better than the info on expert village .
yeah expert village lacks a lot... plus you have to follow a million links and watch the same intro on each to get ANY info at all. haha. But thats why youtube is so great. Theres plenty of quality INDEPENDANT info like this guy :) very helpful
you ignorant twat!!! he said colubrid not cobra idiot!! go read some books, maybe he is young, but i is clearthat he knows a lot more about snakes that you do. NO OFFENSE(lol) but dont comment on stuff you dont even know about.
Yo fuck your comment nik,I think it's great this kid is making a video FOR US When he could just keep all of his knowledge to himself,He's prolly smarter than you tbh. Great video 5* Appreciate it,im lookin to get a black blood soon
@SuperRehank Bloods are absolutely not impossible to tame. I hold them constantly, and to be honest I've never been bitten by one. Just like every species has a preference for a type of handling. The key to good reptile handling is to learn the body language of the species and the particular snake itself.
his tail's not stubby because of the fact that they are adapted to living a partially arboreal life (living among trees), with the longer prehensile tail, it is able to suspend itself and body weight much easier. snakes that are typically and primarily terrestrial tend to have the "stubby" tails. beautiful snake dude, good job with keeping it tame and keep up the good work
DONT GET A JUNGLE!!!! they are naturaly very agressive they are more of a show off snake they bite alot trust me, ill say that again they bite alot very AGRESSIVE
I wpuld not recommend a jungle carpet for a beginner he has bitten me twice so far.but all jcp's are nippy he is fairly tame wen he bit me i wuz gettin him out f the feedin box
has ur ball python ever wrapped around ur neck?

Well, kids on the internet isn't anything new. Years ago it would be unheard of but this is the 21st century.
I think it's fine if the subject matter is reasonable.
This little fella has an interest in reptiles and that's better than what many others post on here.
Two thumbs up!
