I would like to ask you if you are willing to give me the code of the solver you demonstrate in the video.
Even though 2009 is over now, I think that the challenge will remain active through this year also, so I would like to take some ideas and work on a solver on the Mathematica platform.
With so scattered empty spaces, I easily fill 246 pieces with hundreds of different ways of brute force. It takes about 2 hours to do so, but can you fill 246 pieces in 2 hours with your non-brute app ?
@jesliphius Can you send me link with the code? Please, is important for an exam at the University. Thanks
