I think you have to use Donkey Kong because hes heavier than the other characters. You can easily fail the task with him!

This video is against contest rules, although you didn't go over grass you were in grassy areas.

I suppose he was referring to "maze" to give an exemple on which kind of terrain you're allowed to use mushrooms...
