I'm using windows 8 right now, it's badass :D looks a lot better in person than it does on youtube. Still not a huge fan of the minimize/maximize buttons though. They look tacky, hopefully they change that before release. Remember vista? the earliest builds looked like XP but of course, vista is nothing like XP so i hope there are plenty more changes before release. But it's definitely not 7 with a tile-UI tacked on, it's completely new

I've been playing around with the Windows 8 Developers Preview. Same old shitty Windows with a pretty new UI slapped over it. I have to say though, the Metro UI is kinda slick.. for a tablet. For mouse and keyboard computing it's horribly annoying. They're taking cues from Apple (OS X Lion) and trying to combine the mobile and desktop experience but they've implemented it all wrong IMHO.
