  • Pre-ordered this album and was probably one of the first to get it in NZL. Completely underrated album and one that I love with all my heart. I'd consider myself a huge PE fan and watching this brings the memories of all older albums flooding back! PE is proof that music these days are still good. ROCK ON PE

  • 2 dislikes? hmmm...2 people with sticks up their ass?? this what u call ill...retards pffffffffft

  • Chuck D sent me here!

  • @bshort31092

    Me too. PeAce

  • well it was good, could have been better if you had taken it to the more radical side of hate...but it is a keeper to me. good job!

  • Agree Sosan.. PE number 1

  • One of the best groups out there to this day!, still putt pressor on the goverment nuts! as a european growing up its through grps like public enemy, that showed whats really going on instead of main stream media and music.

screw fake shit like lil wayne and kanye west

  • it is an absolute fucking stinking colossal travesty that this album is ssooooooo slept on... i was 15 in 1990, p.e. was on top of the world after nation & fear.... this l.p. is their best since fear, & only the die hard p.e. fans care.... if any youngans' out there were turned on to p.e. by this album, please let me know, it may just restore my faith in humanity.... P.E.ace.

  • this song is the real shit

    Public enemy nr 1 !!

  • This is one of the few hip-hop songs I really like,

but I like it even more because of the Jimi Hendrix - Hey Baby (New Rising Sun) riff in the background. It's awesome.

  • this video is great!

i see public enemy concert pics, demo tapes, making of videos, etc.......truly vintage stuff here........good job done here. i like the end when you see Chuck D. Now vs. him then walking off the stage.....much respect for P. E. :-D. i gave it a thumbs up.

  • Love ya lad xx

  • Love ya lad xx

  • One of my favorite songs ever.

  • sick song, love this one

  • Funny that the real hiphop is not being watched that much. The songs that are from fake rappers have more than million watchers but they never have that much thumbs up.

    KRSONEPUBLICENEMYGURUPREMIEREPMDRAKIMPARIS***************

  • Love the Bob Dylan tribute from Chuck D. This is a killer album,

  • thnks for sharing the vid, this is one i havent seen before

  • Jimi Hendrix (Hey Baby) New Rising Sun

  • what are they saying at the chorus?

  • 25 references to Bob Dylan in this song.

  • I've met Chuck D twice and talked with him for a good length of time. The brother is the baddest. The Hard Rhymer, the Rhyme Animal, the Greatest MC Ever!!!! Been on the ride for all 20 plus years and PE is the Greatest group ever!!!!! Long live PE! Because I'm Public Enemy number 1!!!

  • kozack ,, its beautiful ; ] :D

  • "Seen a nation reduce Fight The Power to Gin and Juice"

That line is powerful as hell.

  • Thanks !!!

  • Is dis new stuff ?

Wer can I get this ?

Wot album is it on ?

    Luv ya man xx

  • @lee3sant HOW YOU SELL SOUL TO A SOULLESS PEOPLE WHO SOLD THEIR SOUL.

it's newer but it's not new.

  • how doesnt this song have 1 million songs

  • @bruinsfan33 propaganda.... nobody want to promote them anymore, they talk to much understand?

  • This is just staggeringly good. Thank god they still release their stuff. Most rap that comes out nowadays isn't good at all. Most of them Lil Wayne songs might have catchy tune and stuff, but lyrics are pure gibberish. I hate it. Respect for PE and Geto Boys. They're one of the best rap groups of all time.

  • PE...Full Circle with this Video, Best Hip Hop Group of All Time

  • this is hell of a song, not much rap good rap left

  • I saw them in Tucson @ 2 years ago, all these young kids were there to see flavor flav and shit....I worship chuck D

    That's Jimi Hendrix on guitar

  • Hey, if Flavor got them to hear what Chuck's spittin he done his part.

  • These guys are unbelievable. Their group symbolizes the contradictions within Black America from the buffoonary of Flavor Flav, the militance of S1W to the social concious genius of Chuck D and everything in between. This all adds to their greatness.

  • The Greatest of All Time

  • 5 stars! great song!

  • pffffff one of the best songs ever

  • fuckin' love this song

  • P.E Gott That stylee. And flav

  • P.E still got game!class!

  • This song is sick.

The Dylan references show his cultural musical knowledge and appreciation for the greatest songwriter of all time.

Anybody know what the Hendrix sample is from?

I think it's something on Electric Ladyland...

  • Hey Baby (new rising sun) off of first rays of the new rising sun

  • it's from hey baby (new rising sun)

it suprised the shit outta me whenever i first heard it.

  • Thanks. Damn this song has some serious Dylan homages lol... I'd say he references Dylan in all but like 20.

  • man how does this video only have 17000 view come on people

  • been there every step of the way... keep it goin...

  • what a track

  • "Seen a nation reduce Fight the Power to Gin and Juice" - Wow, Chuck D speaks the truth, even though that song is a favorite of mine

  • PUBLIC ENEMY LIVES...........

  • dude this track is insane

i realize if you dont sellout and party for your right to fight

    you can inspire many

  • Long and whining road, 20 years and I been there for every one of them. PUBLIC ENEMY #1 boyeeeeeeee!

  • this song makes me sad. its like chucks whole life story, i remember all of those fliks from this vid.

  • P.E. No.1 !!!!

  • I love this fucking song. Does anyone have any idea what the chords might be?

  • they killed Radio Raheem!

  • Bringing bak the real hip hop

  • best hip-hop group ever, no doubt.

  • Chuck D. 4 President!

  • Theanks 4 bringing real hip hop back!!! Show 'em watcha got

  • chuck is god!!!!!!!!!

  • 20 year of rap history!! thanks 4 exist! PE from da beginning to da end!! italy still support PE4life!!

  • Public Enemy is an unbelievable hip hop group. They have stayed together for 20 YEARS!!! A Tribe Called Quest didn't last that long. NWA broke up after a few years. It's rare for a BAND of ANY genre to last 20 years together, much less a hip hop group. These guys are the real deal and are arguably the best hip hoppers ever.

  • you gonna get yours!

  • the oldskool is are the only ones in the game making real rap/hip-hop cuz you can actually relate to them. theres only a few new skool rappers people can relate too. but most of the new skool is making that mc hammer bull shit and rapping about nothing espeically the dirty south.

  • ^^yea like PE, killah priest kweli, and kool g.

  • it sounds like they sampled "hey baby (new rising)" sun, or is that just me?

  • yeah thats the opening licks. Good video & lyrical history....PE in the building!!!!

  • Hell yeah, Jimi Hendrix, another LEGEND, love his music too

PE keeping it real for over 20 years, word up!

  • 11 billion stars for this album and this song and this group. Amazing AMAZING new stuff. I hope they make another and another and another.....

  • this is what rap is all about

  • How come this didn't go mainstream? This is tight!! Need more political, concious awareness music like this to open minds.

  • this is so good how come there isn't so many views and ratings dang this is 5/5 easyly

  • ppl who dont know whats the truth!!

  • wow just wow !

  • damn i cant find this track ! only video no song of it ?

  • It's from the album HOW YOU SELL SOUL TO A SOULLESS PEOPLE WHO SOLD THEIR SOUL???

  • I love how chuck recounts PE's hisotry by referencing Bob Dylan. Think these gangsta morons even know who bob is?

Chuck D is a class act

  • Great song and great video...summari of the 20 years (Y) Public Enemy are still the greatest group ever in the history of Hip-Hop

thak you for the great music :)

  • PE=20 yeras with the right message, thank you Chuk, flavor, terminator, professor, blessss you

  • emo hip hop??

    great song..chuck still shines

  • Emo? Boy, you been hit with the stupid stick?

Just because there might be a bit of a sad, reflective tone doesn't make it emo.

I dont see black eyeliner and wrist slits anywhere in the video

  • Best P.E. video I've seen in a minute...loving this!!!

  • siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick...

  • as well as the bob dylan references and the song name, anyone else notice the similarity between the tune and Jimmy Hendrix - Hey Baby (New rising Sun), think their more of a tribute and not making fun of

  • you're right!

  • Yes thats what I thought. Well, I thought of Hendrix and couldn't think of which track until I saw your post

  • It's not only a similarity, they sampled the Hendrix song

  • that would explain it, only heard the album a couple times at a friends so wasnt 100% sure

  • Harder than the rest

  • haha it's funny how no one noticed they're making fun of the beatles "the long and WINDING road" in the title. dumbass's expand what your listening to if you didn't know that. but anyway public enemy is the only rap i can truly understand and relate to. not like verbally but what their saying. it's nothing like the SHIT YOU HEAR NOW, thats just womenizing and lame. i also love "political music".

  • @minookawreslinkid99 This ain't no fun. It's just a word play. Not first and not last in PE's career. Word play in PE's titles is one of their trade marks.

  • That was really deep.

  • i love the bit at the end when they show all the albums

  • it's cool to see the old pics, but it's kind of a depressing video. seems like chuck is longing for the good old days too much. he will always be on the top of my list of people who get my respect and PE will always be #1

  • I like to think of it more as a "don't forget where you came from" sort of thing.

  • hey who r those guys standing with chuck at 4:08

  • Bill Adler on the left and Cey Adams on the right.

  • yeah, i just felt like it had a bit of a defeated tone when it should be triumphant.

  • I don't think Chuck's longing for the old days too much.I believe what he is doing or the purpose of this song is to reflect back on Public Enemy's career.20 years is a long time man,and nobody else in the Entire Rap Game can say they've been as relevant as PE has. This song is like Instant Vintage and should be celebrated!

    Stay At Em' Chuck!

  • I see Chuck reflecting, and all that he went through, and keeping true to himself, not caving to societies way of thinking,(bling) keeping GOD in sight and continue to reach the youth. As he said blood sweat no tears Public Enemy!!

  • awesome vid

  • Damn!!!

  • cool...cool....

    long time...i saw P.E. in Omaha, NE..back in 1987....

    OLD SCHOOL LEGENDS

  • commandpix is my phavorite phuckin cinemas.

  • If i drink juice can I have a hairdo like Johnny?
