@thisisbad97 make a new project, drag the instrumental from itunes to garageband, after u do so, the beat is gonna b there, to record over it u click on "Track" and "new basic track" then ur set to record, make new tracks for everytime u record a new vocal. i rap :p haha i use this shyt

@katieliu99 I definitely recommend GarageBand over Audacity. Audacity is a little quicker and easier, but GarageBand has way more options and can make your work sound a lot more professional if you just take the time to learn how to use it.

When I open my Garage Band, it doesn't have the same menu. It has magic garage band, new project & podcast. How do I get that menu? Do I HAVE to download iLife??
