  • Imagine u're driving your car when suddenly u'll hear this song on the radio?? i'll go fucking insane

  • is it the exodus bassist in the background? And did i just see Adler from lamb of god in the door? anyways Testament rule the world !!

  • Alex skolnick is my idol

  • HA! only in Texas man!!! hahahahah fuck yeah!! TESTAMENT FTW!!!

  • These guys are way tighter than Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth together. They where and are the best Thrashband (for me). Greg Christian is a beast on bass.

  • what guitar alex plays?

  • @Necr0pha4gist

I'm pretty sure it's a Heritage guitar. Les Paul style.

  • @Necr0pha4gist It's his signature single cut heritage, you should check them out they are pretty beast

  • I love this lineup with Greg and Alex!! Is that Bostaph on drums?

  • @bethshair yup

  • chucks the shit

  • God after 20+ years these guys still sound as great as ever.

  • fuckkkkkkkk....speechless! this band has the greatest sound ever heard

  • great to see Alex enjoying playing metal and paul killing drums :). my fav musicians!

  • fuck! i love bostaph! haha

  • learn to play

  • lotta cash...

  • shit chuck can sing!

  • Ive been listening to these boys for 20 years now and they just keep getting better..i still get the shivers when i see and hear them. TESTAMENT FOR LIFE

  • TESTAMENT RULES!!!

    They should replace Anthrax.

  • @Necr0pha4gist where?

  • Fuck, why the video are so quiet? I had to turn my speakers to almost maximum to get it ok :(

  • lol, looks like Chris Adler is in the background?

  • @biglhot75 and @sagedrummer. I am completly with you guys on those statement. Lars Ulrich did set the standard for the new generation of drummers, and ...AJFA was one of lars's best albums. and in my opinion so was the black album. but thats me.

  • erics guitar is badass!

  • lol...Skolnick and Howard Stern have very similar voices.

  • Everyone is ripping on Lars, and while I agree that he is past his playing prime, lets not forget that he set the standard for todays drummers.

  • The drumming on ...And Justice for All is some of the most musical and innovative drum work ever put down on a metal album. All the haters who are just referring to speed or power need to realize that there is more to drumming then that.

  • @sagedrummer whoa wheres ? i dont see any negative drumming comments and wtf this is a testament video haha

  • All I gotta say about this Dave vs.Paul debate is 'The Gathering'. Dave's best metal performance. Some of you will come back w/ Reign In Blood but I feel Gathering is more interesting from a drumming standpoint. Now I fuckin' love Paul too His work w/ both Testament and Slayer are amazing. Also lets not forget Forbidden! 2 excellent drummers.

  • Couldnt have said it better then myself, They are both better then eachother in their own way, they are both amazing drummers

  • lamb of god stole the riff of this song on laid to rest

  • @FancyJesus666

Yeah we already know that but that doesn't take away the fact that they're a good band.

  • @FancyJesus666 ive heard that for so many songs for so many freaking bands they didnt stel just because it is in the same tuning or is on the same mode or scale..

  • @FancyJesus666 They modified it pretty much.

  • @FancyJesus666 Good point but at least Lamb of God can say that Testament is a good influence on there music.

  • @FancyJesus666

I fucking hate LoG. I was into them for about a week.

Testament is one of the original 80's Bay Area metal bands that just keeps getting better. Skolnick fucking kills!!

  • @FancyJesus666

Laid To Rest is a fucking awesome song regardless, obviously they stole a good riff and didn't rip shit off like some bands I've heard

  • @FancyJesus666

and it sounds quite similar to the 11th hour as well

  • @FancyJesus666 I agree men

  • @FancyJesus666 That's because Lamb of God fucking sucks!!

  • Into the PIT FUCKING GREAT

    KEEP IT METAL

  • what a fucking cool voice !!!

  • Lars is okay when he gets told what to do. OKAY that is, he actually can't keep a groove lol

  • Wow! They sound so fucking tight...dead on. Good job guys.

  • I don't think anybody is questioning Dave's technical proficiency. Personally, I just prefer Bostaph's style; he seems a lot tighter. Dave's playing has a much more "off the cuff" feel to it. I've just never been a big fan of that signature "Lombardo fill" (the one where he seeingly hits toms at random at 200+ bpm.) It never felt very musical to me.

I could see Dave having a tough time stomping a Bostaph drum part like the beginning to "More than Meets the Eye."

  • I was there for this and it fucking ruled!

  • I was there too! It was fuckin' surreal.

  • I know this might be metal heresy, but

    BOSTAPH > Lombardo

  • I agree that Bostaph is technically better than Lombardo, but Lombardo player on the better Slayer albums.

  • Yeah, Slayer really isn't Slayer without Lombardo. But I do like Bostaph better in general.

  • why does the beginning sound almost like slayer?

  • Actually, Lamb of God basically ripped it off for Laid to Rest

  • damn..Paul Bostaph is a machine..

  • What is a spinal tab moment?

  • A Spinal Tap moment is based on the movie "This is Spinal Tap", which is about a fake rock band and all the mishaps and pitfalls they experience on (and off) the road. It's hysterical. in one scene, they're in a basement or something, trying to find the stage at one of their concerts, and just keep going around in circles, while stopping to ask a janitor from time to time. Great stuff!! Hope this helps!!

  • PAUL BOSTAPH 3:50!!!

  • awesome

  • I was there! Fuckin killer show
