jackie wrote and recorded this in nov.1963,but its heavy orcastra sound wasn't right so it didn't do well. then the beatles and george harrison during the sullivan visit recieved the first rickenbacker 360 electric 12 string guitar.he recorded much of the hard days night LP with it and popularized its sound. the searchers got a hit with her song using a 12 string sound. jackie toured with the beatles in august and in sept.64 re-recorded the song with the 12 string guitar added,and re-issued it.
