  • should've started lifting you'd be big as fuck

  • You look awesome :) my best for you!

  • I dont think Iver ever replied to a youtube video before but you looked so "right" Im glad this is working out for you. Good luck in your future.

  • I thought this was gonna be a vid about some guys random failed attempt to get buff, but then I got all happy w fuzzy feelings inside, best of luck to you man:)

  • You make a cute boy! :P

    Congrats on the transition

  • I'm proud of you somehow :P

  • Hey, now that you are taking steroids you should take advantage of that and train to become a bodybuilder! Eat more and train for many reps and sets. With a little more calories in your diet you could become huge! :D (would take 2 or 3 years of consistent training)

  • Good for you! I am happy to see that this has worked well for you! I think you should leave up these hateful comments, it is a testament to how ignorant the uninformed majority can be about these treatments or these drugs.

  • good luck and congrats on the progress so far

  • Congratulations mate!

Very nice that you have reached this far, I wish you all good luck to come!

  • @transoutlaw im a grower

  • @calmeiris Right on!

  • Woah.

  • If it makes you happy then that was the best decision you've ever made.

  • Good for you, hope you continue to be happy, its nice to see people embrace things and attack them in that way!

  • Oh my god Its Damien Lewis from Homeland :O

  • i accidentally came across this video whilst amusing myself with videos of idiots abusing steroids. (carrot top is terrifying) but having watched the vid through, I'll say I'm glad you're happy with your decision and hope the rest of your transition goes well.

  • you look great as a man,peace!

  • you look awesome! totally handsome btw :)

  • Nice video. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  • So how do you feel?

  • @katinkers In terms of my transition, I feel very good. I have no doubt that this was the right path for me.

  • i'm really happy for you josh :) i know this video is old but you look amazing <3

  • do you have a dick ? 0-o LOL

  • WOAH - that is a change - I would pass you on the street - you look like a a guy (well you are a guy now I should say)

  • Kudos, a young lady takes T at work and developed a more muscular broader frame as well, I'm sure you did your research on the side effects but honestly you can't fake a smile like that. I'm happy for you ^_^ and to PS3MVP, body and facial hair is a genetic trait, I myself can grow a very thick gotee and muttenchops but the rest doesn't grow in... you may not be one of the lucky ones who spends all there money and time in the bathroom shaving haha

  • @eddie4ya2000 Oh yes, lots of research went into my decision, and it's all medically supervised. I haven't had negative side effects. My dosage is much less than what your average body builder takes. You're quite right, I spend almost no time shaving, I just let it grow and have a pretty bushy beard right now. There are a couple of areas that need to grow in more, but I can see it's coming along. Shaving's for chumps!! ;)

  • Thats amazing.

    Im so happy for you.

    Be happy!

  • holy toledo, you look incredible... the transformation is astonishing. You look very happy as a male and make a good looking one if i may say so :)

  • dude u look like a dude

  • I thought this video had to do with bodybuilding and roids... anyway, I'm very happy for you!

  • you look good!

  • <3

  • I couldnt help but notice in a couple of your shots ...and maybe it was the angle of the camera or what not..but your left arm is a bit bigger than your right arm...maybe when you are working out you are over compensating?? Just an observation...only you can tell since it is just a video image :)

  • @eddotheshrew Good observation, you're right! My left arm is bigger. I think it's because of a "deformity" I have in my right pec. My right arm has always been weaker despite being right handed.

  • you are free now.. good for you ...

  • this is such a great video and love that you have been able to embrace yourself. Love Love Love doesnt even begin to describe the emotion that i have for you right now. best of luck.

  • truely amazing...

  • You look great.....now to secretly put T into the water supply to turn all the girls into sexy men.

  • fck this video is the best i ever watch good job!

  • The "by seven months"...so happy for you and the decision you made. Wow, that was a real shock- the therapy really kicked in by then, and I think you are exactly who you need to be now. And now go have a lifetime of it...

  • @Dmaxdrift It's cool... but it's wrong and crazy... You and your opinion sound very confused.

  • @transoutlaw "The term narcotic (pronunciation: /nɑrˈkɑːtɨk/, from Greek narkō, “Ι benumb”) originally referred medically to any psychoactive compound with any sleep-inducing properties. In the United States of America [...]" they use words however the hell they want.

me being pedantic has nothing to do with your person or anything, so good luck with your transition.

it's 2 years now from when you shot this video, i hope you're doing well and get where you want to get.

    ahoi!

  • really cool, big props. :)

  • Ras

  • Happy for you, your life, your happiness, stupid people everywere

  • kinda cute guy :)

  • Oh thats good....

  • really amazing :D

  • Wow, that's quite a dramatic transformation from only testosterone!!! That must have taken immense dedication and a hard training program, you will be my inspiration when I hit the gym next time!

  • Dude,you look great. :)

  • Glad to see you achieved the transformation you wanted, man!

Hope you go all the way through, and good luck :)

  • does look like a dude at the end...

  • @cyborgar15 not really

  • I'm happy that you're happy

  • This video almost made me cry.

Your smile is kind of contagious. I'm very happy for your achievements.

    Congratulations!

  • Respect!

  • Amazing to see how good that therapy works!

I feel very lucky for you :)

(If my grammar sounds odd, excuse me please, I'm from Germany. xD And just in case somebody thinks otherwise: I'm no Nazi.)

  • Follow your choices ;) thats exacly what u did.

    Respect!

  • i think if ur happier now then u were bfor, then u made the right decision, everyone is diff n thinks about things differently, thats wat makes everyone so unique/diff. frm each other. no one elses response to this video matters, only ur own.

  • I just want the world too be happy, so great for you!!! I hope you can truly enjoy your life now, take care!

  • will u work out? push ups pull ups running :D

  • @Kanashto Yes, I work out pretty regularly. Lots of pushups and pullups. I dislike running, but I walk a good 5km a day.

  • sweet man i am happy for you good to see you made it

  • I'm glad you followed your heart and are happier now. This question might seem stupid or whatever, but I noticed in the video that the testosterone didn't change the size of your nipples. Did you have the surgery to change your genitals? Is there a surgery that changes the size of nipples to be more like the size of a man's nipples?

  • @sweetievee83 Testosterone doesn't significantly reduce breast tissue. The photos used in this video show my chest after my first surgery. I then had another surgery within the year to further reduce the size of the areola. (The nipples were reduced in the first surgery, most people don't know the difference between areola and nipple.) My chest looks perfectly normal, with very minimal scars that are nicely hidden by a lot of chest hair. I go topless all summer long.

  • @sweetievee83 (ps. For a variety of reasons, I've chosen not to discuss genital surgeries here. It's not the right place for it, and I tend to reserve that topic for conversations with people I know and trust, or other trans people seeking information.)

  • no one can control who they are i think it is a bold brave step to do what you have done i just pissed off at you for 1 reason....i was born a male and u got more facial hair than me! lol :) AND I AM 21!

  • @PS3MVP Beards do take time. I'm close to 4 years on T and my chin still has some patchy zones. It may just be a matter of time, and it may also be genetic. Not all men can grow beards. Look at the men in your family and you'll get a pretty good indication of what kind of beard you'll be able to grow.

  • @transoutlaw best conv ever

  • looking good! Cant see you where a woman at all now!

  • Congratulations! It was genuinely heartwarming to watch this video. You being able to externally blossom into the person you always felt you were on the inside is something to be inspired by. It's a little bit like watching someone who was born deaf or blind being able to hear of see for the first time. It's a little sad that so many don't feel the same.

Keep on being who you are!

  • congrats

  • does anyone question your gender now? your voice is deep now? you are now a extraordinary average 30 year old man?

I cant imagine what it must have been like to have GID. God bless ya and im glad music was always there for you. its always there for me in the hardtimes life offers us. amazing what a guitar can do ehhh?

  • @DrumNBum Thanks! My gender isn't questioned. I've been on T for close to 4 yrs, my voice is deep, I have a beard, and more muscle than plenty of other guys I know. All is good. While my transition has been a success it hasn't been easy, and if I had a choice I would have been born simply male, but I can't deny that the experience has shaped who I am, and I rather like that person. (And, agreed about guitars!)

  • are you a he or a she because this is very creepy like when you were a girl and know you are a boy how scary

  • @nmaster89 Wow, you are afraid of me. It blows my mind how afraid people are of each other these days... Maybe you could get a therapist and work your issues out.

  • @transoutlaw hey, got here from some bb vids, you know ;-) watched your vid more than once, GREAT! what dosage do you use and after this long time do you have sideeffects?

  • @pickelamarsch Thanks! I sometimes tweak my dosage a bit, I'm currently taking 170mg every two weeks. The highest dose I was on was 200mg. This is the maximum recommended by my endocrinologist, though every body is different and some guys do better with a little more. No side effects really, other than the ones I wanted. I did have some acne for a bit but that was gone after a year or so. (I'm more than 3.5 years on T now.)

  • @transoutlaw I don't know how anybody could be afraid of you, unless they are afraid of their own sexuality. I think all people on this planet should have the freedom to express themselves for who, and what, they are; provided its does not hinder the well-being of others.

  • @mesenoth P.S. I think you make an excellent man.

  • You look better as a boy i have to say...

  • GG!

  • Wish you best of luck, but i want to ask you a serious question, is it hard to find a mate?

  • @demonkazi Thanks! As for your question: I don't have the personal experience to answer it. I've had the same GF for 15 years now.

  • eww wtf? no wonder people laugh at america

  • @imawhiteboy4eva I don't live in the US but I see that you do. Your assumption that I'm American shows your skewed US-centric world view, and that is one of the reasons people laugh at America.

  • @transoutlaw I don't even know what this guy said, I'm sure it was quite ignorant if he automatically assumed you were from the United States. But the people who "laugh at America" are no better than the very Americans they laugh at. It is out of complete stupidity that some people have to judge a whole nation based on simple minded stereotypes about that country. Or about the few Americans they actually meet or see on television. I hope you're not one of those people.

  • @IcyHot311 I don't laugh at Americans, I laugh at Americans who have a US-centric world view.

  • @transoutlaw Okay (: You're right, ignorance can be very humorous. Congrats on your transition by the way (:

  • @tomsnegirev I really doubt that you "don't hate on a lot of things". I can tell that you hate Spell Check and punctuation. I bet you hate a person's right to chose. And if you're religious enough to believe that God hates homosexuals or transgenders, then you should probably capitalize the word God.

  • wish you all the best!

  • nice...so are you happier now..??? i hope so.. and for all the haters en religious fanatics, its the new millenium, get your asses out of the darkages.. and BEHOLD the POWER of modern medicine...(dumbasses)

  • @sl8chter1 Yes, I'm happier. Transitioning is no walk in the park, it takes incredible resilience, but it's been the best decision of my life. Sometimes I wish I'd known that I had options sooner, but at the same time I'm not sure it would have gone as smoothly if I'd done this in my 20s. (btw, your comment made me fist pump, thanks!)

  • Good for you, mate

  • congratulations !

  • congratulations !

  • Wow you look a lot like a guy now! I'

m guessing that's what you were going for?

ANyways, I'm glad that you found your trueself and are ahppy :)

  • great courage. keep it up

  • smart thinking ahead to document it

  • @IPhoneHungry I take a regular series of photos and post them on my blog. (I used to do this monthly, now it's about twice a year.) It's pretty cool to see how things changed, especially over the first 2 years, but I wish I'd taken a photo every day and made a flip book.

  • wow

  • awesome transformation. thx for the documentary.

  • Fantastic transformation. You look awesome!!

  • WHOA!

  • ur a dude!!!!

  • this is amazing...it takes some " balls " to jump into something like that. Great job be very proud! :)

  • @StoneHardFitness Actually it can be very inspirational what some people do to themselves in this world and this circumstance happens to be one of them. @TransOutLaw I commend you on your bravery, congratulations and I wish you all the very best.

  • ur an inspiration, keep going. wish u all the best xxxx

  • good job dude! congratz

  • upsetting what the people of this world do to themselves

  • @StoneHardFITNESS I'm sorry you had such an emotional reaction to this and hope you feel better soon.

  • @transoutlaw good shit, cool video, keep up the good work and dont let these little 14 year olds on utube discourage u : )

  • @StoneHardFITNESS test is legal for treating conditions like this one, he just decided to get in shape.

  • @StoneHardFITNESS It's their lives, let them live it how they choose

  • @StoneHardFITNESS I hope you get over it :(

  • i'm happy for you man!

  • if he/she is happy im happy too :D

  • I'm glad it made you happy .

  • thank you for this video, it is great to see your transformation. it looks, if you are happier now :-) congratulation for your brave ;-)

  • Amazing video, you look great now!

  • Simply amazing; I'm sure this video will encourage many people.

    Congrats!

  • @fsghdfh6s5h4b54 Thank you, it has! I get many very moving emails about this.

  • Guy below is an asshole but one thing got to me about this. Are "aggresive" and "macho" stereotypes that women have for men? Define macho please.

  • @Mangobrain82 Please watch the video again. I fully explain that in the annotations. I don't understand why people jump to incorrect conclusions or can't read...

  • @transoutlaw No people generally turn off annotations cause people bitch for likes, comments, sub and to watch more videos. Even then your annotation doesn't define macho anyway

  • @schulze3 Ah I didn't know annotations could be turned off.

If you want definitions for "stereotypes that women have for men," you'll have to ask a woman.

  • @transoutlaw I know the conventional stereotype but it changes from person to person. And to turn off annotations is right next to the 240[ the little red box

  • science is amazing, isn't it?

  • They make your bones grow?

  • @TheYexus Testosterone won't make my bones grow (or give me added height) because I'm past puberty.

  • Good for you!

  • Woah, this is amazing.. this made my day.. such a wonderful video.

Congratsulations on the transformation man... good job.

  • Wow you're handsome :D

  • I think what you have achieved so far is great. You look way better. Real good. Your plan is obvisouly medically supervised. You should say that. There is a lot of difference in medically supervised steroid use and the no necks in the gym using steroids. Keep up the great work. Be blessed.

  • @tomharrell1954 Thank you! Yes, this is medically supervised, absolutely. You can't get through this process without a team of doctors. Plus, I've gained extensive medical knowledge.

  • cuáaatico!

  • thats amazing, you even grew hair on your face

  • @good4damoney I should post something new... it's been a couple of years since this vid and I'm sporting a lumberjack beard. I have fur all over!

  • @transoutlaw Please do!

You were a handsome fella back then, but I'm really wondering what has changed since.

  • I think you're are pride of your results... I can only imagine the courage and the energy you had to cope this transition. At last you managed and now you're a good looking guy... Good work, enjoy a happier life.

  • Lol I thought this was about steroids. hey whatever makes you happy. No use living life not liking who you are right?

  • OK, when I first saw this, I thought some prick was using testosterone to help with their bodybuilding (I was looking up exercise vids). As a natural bodybuilder, I really get annoyed at steroid use in the gym, but when I saw what this vid was actually about, I just have to say good for you! People should be who they want to be.

  • @dionkar336 Steroids is annoying, but there is negative affects with everything, such as liver and kidney complications. So be happy you are not on roids.

  • damn. you're hot!!! congratulations in transitioning <3

  • Wow good for you!

  • SO, DO YOU NOW UNDERSTAND WHAT US MEN HAVE COURSING IN OUR BODY, AKA TESTOSTERONE. AND THE POWER BEHIND IT?

  • I'm so happy for you, dude! :D

  • Ok so now bodybuilders should really shut the fuck up that steroids are just a little help in their progress :)

  • @awhoergek yeah, they could easily do what they do with injections only, it's not like eating on a schedule or spending 30 hours a week in a gym are a big deal, anyone could do that :P

  • now you're a man

  • holy crap what a difference!

  • Wow. I loved this :)

  • Travis Rice!

  • would you say that you did a 180 nollie on your gender? because thats what i would describe it as(i am a skaterpunk irl)

  • congrats!!!

  • I like how your 12th mth wasnt a picture, gave me a surprise :D

  • Congratulations on finding the key to your happiness. I mean no disrespect when I say that I could see the GID in the earlier pics. I think a lot of it was in your choice of style, and the way you carried yourself. (I.E. the longer hair, and fairly gender neutral clothing) I could see a definite transformation in the time-lapse photos. The upper torso filled out, as did the facial musculature. Did you work out during this, or was this all from the T?

  • God 4 u!

  • @transoutlaw "That is a myth about testosterone supplementation."

It's a myth about testosterone, and I believe that's what I said. I use the term "men" interchangeably with "the presence of testosterone" because for all intents and purposes it's true and it's more convenient.

I know you didn't say men were aggressive, macho, and insensitive. I know you were using it in the contest of testosterone suppliments. I'm actually supporting you.

  • Good for you!

  • @transoutlaw greetings from holland, let me say, as a born man, you are now a good looking man, but you can see you are sensitive and somewhat nerdy/geeky even, not a jock-type or metal-type, but a man nonetheless, so good for you!

  • @iskyandar Sensitive, yeah I probably am, I'm OK with that. I think the world would be better off with a few more sensitive men. Nerdy/geeky, a bit I guess, not ashamed of that either, my nerdy qualities make me money. I may surprise you on the jock and metal types though: I'm a huge baseball fan and love old 70s metal. (Sabbath!!) This vid's a couple of years old, I look a somewhat different now, thicker with a beard.

  • i ask myself how can you find out that you are in the wrong body / have the wrong gender but actually DO NOT KNOW anything about what a man or a woman actually is and how they socially act?

aggressive and insensitive.... that`s pathetic, i tell you.

  • @freakguitar1 Wow, my video really upset you. I'm sorry you didn't understand or read my previous comments about this... I don't believe men are aggressive and insensitive. That's a myth about testosterone supplementation. I have more insight into gender and how it relates to social behavior than you will ever have.

  • @transoutlaw Thanks for that, that basically answers my questions. Coming from the perspective of a weightlifter, I can't help but feel that muscularity has been forever associated with aggression. It also seems that testosterone has been defamed as the aggression hormone. If this were true, then professional body builders would effectively be caged animals, since they typically take 100-500 times the amount of testosterone an normal adult male would produce in a week.

  • @trollerderby Thanks for your comments. Hormonal *imbalances* can cause mood and personality changes, and even aggression, but this is certainly not limited to testosterone. (Think: menopause.)

  • @transoutlaw Absolutely, and that has been my experience as well, the guys that are heavy on the gear exhibit behaviors very similar to my mother, who has had a rough time with hot flashes and menopause in general. I still think my mom is scarier than the silverbacks at the gym though :P

  • @transoutlaw I thought about our exchange the other day, and a professors brought up a good point, one I hadn't thought of. He is trans himself, and he explained that during his experiences and research in the community it was clear that the requirements for a GID diagnosis were forcing people to act hyper-masculine to match the symptoms as laid out in a the diagnostic manuals. I mentioned your video, and he seemed pleased to hear that you're breaking the hegemony. Kudos.

  • @trollerderby What your prof says has been true. For instance, gay trans men can have a harder time accessing services, for not being "masculine enough." However, the requirements for the diagnosis are changing. The language of the new DSM will state that it can be applied to people who identify with a gender *other than their assigned gender* as opposed to the opposite gender. This will be helpful for those who may not fit he perfect stereotypes of male/female.

  • @freakguitar1 ps. Hey, you're a pretty good guitar player! I love that in your latest video you're wearing a T-shirt that says "We Love Transitions." How very appropriate.

  • wow you look great

  • @maverickedgar I don't think "at heart". At heart, he will always be a man. As for DNA, chromosomes, etc, yes he will always be female in that aspect. But that doesn't matter. As long as he is happy with himself as a man, that's all that matters.

  • @futurejockey8 I've never had genetic testing (who has?) so none of us can say for certain how my chromosomes are lined up, but I appreciate your supportive comment!

  • @transoutlaw honored to be replied to by you :) I know, I just had to assume. Hope you have a great day :D

  • oh my God you look like Luke skywalker

  • Respect....

  • I'll never understand it because I've never wanted to be anything but me. A bit tomboyish when young and a bit of a rough around the edges lady now that I'm older but I've always felt comfortable in my gender. Glad you feel happier now though. It's got to be hard to find out that you aren't quite like the others growing up.
