I can't believe this footage. Truly amazing. I was there and unfortunately lost a great friend. The film actually shows me in one scene. For the sake of his family, if you have any more footage from that scene they would be tremendously grateful to see it to try and understand the moments that led to, and followed their son's death. Bless you for having the clarity of thought to film in the first place x
thank you for this very realistic video (coz was reality)....I was 1 of the victims who...don't ask me how survived......I've with some friends right after non stop tried to get the surived and mostly very injured people from the devestated island to the helicoter (it took hours before the first helicoter arrived)...thank you again for publishing this...
what a strong video, difficult to watch.... Really, really beautiful song "Black Water" . Nilla Nielsen who wrote it was in Phi Phi when the tsunami hit. Such a beautiful song.
This video is incredible and one I have never seen before. I don't know how the camera man was able to get such steady shots in the surge - was he on foot. And look at those palm trees getting town down at 1:40! Amazing
Haha. Dirty thai bastards deserve to die. This makes me laugh every time I see it. Swim you smelly fuckers. I wish more thai aids monkeys died in the wave. Their king bumhole should have died too as he is a faghole.
Great video and a steady hand (thankfully). A lot of other footage from that fateful day is very shaky and full of exhausting, non-stop camera panning. But I guess considering the worst tsumani in a century had just hit it was understandable.
ugh very scary, I was also there a few months ago. The whole island has an eerie feeling to it. When I went up to the view point and took a look at the magazine they where selling that had pictures of the tsunami I cried so hard.
hey i just came bk..and its absolutely beautiful..they have recovered so much from seein this video..its pretty depressin 2 see how bad it was then.. just thought id tell u that its back to its paradise ways.. :-) ..hope u enjoyed ur time there..we really did

So sad to realize paradise can be turned into hell so quick, this tsunami was unreal, another reminder that things can change very fast....
