You know when you look back on this game...Briles going to Baylor 2 weeks after this, he blew it on purpose.Then he would have stayed to coach the championship game, and a bigger bowl game. Our AD knew this, and said better to have a close bowl game(Texas Bowl),then in Memphis or AL. Sorry guys, your not that good.

Were we, in reality, good enough to beat Bowling Green by 56 or beat Brigham Young, or were there coaching conspiracies at those schools too?

Good enough to beat BYU? You guys will have some trouble if not next year but in a few when Sumlin(our new coach) gets going. Its all about homefield advantage.. next year,its in our house. Youll always been 3rd best in OK because of OU and OSU. Get over it. Defense wins ball games... Hawaii and Georgia? hmmm...

Yes, we beat Brigham Young, who is ranked 17, I believe. You guys beat any ranked opponents? Maybe if you sacked up and played a tougher non-conference schedule you'd be better prepared for conference play and might avoid getting dismantled by Paul Smith and his receivers.

More than half of our starters are back except for Paul Smith who is going to the league. Our receivers who smoked your team are freshmen and sophomores. Our new QB was the best juco QB in the nation before he transferred.

It's also funny that you say "defense wins ball games". I guess it did in this one, didn't it? Georgia is one of the bets teams in the country, will be ranked top 5 next season and plays in the SEC whereas Hawaii plays in the WAC. Everyone knew Hawaii would get smoked.

And I think it's really cute you blame your reaming on "home field advantage". So if the game was at Houston, what would the score be? 56-7 Houston? Find a better excuse.

And Oklahoma has better football than Texas. OU has the highest win percentage and most wins in the modern era.

But really, I'm scared of your new coach. I'm really scared of the recruits he lined up in his not-even-a-year on the job. He probably attracts more attention than Tulsa's Malzahn or Graham. And Tulsa's recruiting class, once again, is ahead of Houston on Rivals as it has been for the last few years.

Defense wise, we got two of the top 20 weak side LB's in the nation. He grabbed those guys on one visit. When you look at the staff this guy put together, and the recruits hes bringing in after having the job a month... its stupid crazy. Briles never brought any talent class like this in his 5 years. And our defensive Cordinator came from UCF, where in one year he took them from in the hundreds to number 40 this year.
