Hey, I know I'm a bit late here, but can I ask why you were selling? I'm looking at installing a Bigsby to my Tele, and I'm hoping it wasn't for any technical difficulties
Hello i'd like to ask you something... I want to install a bigsby on my GnL TELE ....Is this bigsby plate going to affect(negatively) the heavier overdrive tone that I get from my Seumour Duncan hot rails bridge pick up?
@sielos27 I dont think so, I use the GFS overwound humbuckers (very similar to hotrails) in my alloy tele. If you're worried, check out the John 5 tele with bigsby, that's about as heavy a tone as anyone would want.
AWESOME! i'm asking for a bigsby for Christmas lol. i have a FST and it sounds great, but i hate having to bend it at the neck joint to get that sound, so i would need a trem.
Thanks... Hey, I just bought the bigsby telecaster box kit for my american standard tele... Did you find the bigsby bridge and setup gave you tuning problems, or any other problems for that matter?
Hi, besides the chris isaak stuff... can anyone tell me the other songs that he is playing... especially that surfy hawaiian type stuff toward the end?
the first song I'm playing here is "Sweet Home Chicago", second song is "Wicked Game" and the last song is my arrangement of "Sleepwalk" by Santo and Johnny. Thanks for looking,
You can definitely play. This is the best proof on You Tube, or anywhere I've looked, that a bigsby is a great idea on a telecaster. Totally cool video.
great guitar. i've had my mind on a bigsby tele for a long time. i also have a vox pathfinder amp for practicing. great amp for the cash. actually played some gigs with some friends and we called ourselves 'the pathfinders' as a tribute to the amp.
This Vox is the AC3CC1, very happy with the sound. The Bigsby Tele is very nice, I'm actually having second thoughts about selling it......hmmmm......
Wicked Game by Chris Isaak. I don't usually screw up the fingerpicking part like that, but I figure I'm demoing the sound of the guitar, sounds nice I think.

i have a question...
-> with a bigsby, can get a note ''higher'' than another ?(can we pull it ?)
or can we just push on it to get lower notes ?
thank you
leonard1893 2 years ago
Hi, yes- the bigsby can be pulled up to higher notes as well as pushed for lower notes.
