I would consider this a 'button accordion'. An accordion has buttons facing away from the player, while concertinas have buttons on the sides... also, Accordions have (left hand) buttons that play full chords. With a concertina, most buttons play one note only. Very nice playing, especially for 11 years old!

Its a diatonic accordion.. but in Portugal and amongst the portuguese its widely known as Concertina!
