  • I didn't know this video was about horses. Am I a fan of SJP? Nay.

  • @Cserpentina Don't know if you have the same email address, but thought you would like to know that geeks the world around have based their lives around the idea that knowing is better than wondering

  • Why the hell does everyone rip on the Jewish nose such as Sarah Jessica Parker's? I have a Jewish nose albeit mine is a much slighter bump than is usually thought of. Yet I adore the really pronounced shnoz as well ;) It is not ugly but a mark of our tribal identity. Plus gentiles need to know that plenty of them also have noses like that, plenty of Jews have tiny noses, and the Jewish nose varie swidely in size and shape. Ya know sometime sI wish mine were more of the noticeable kind ;9

  • too bad her nose didn't stay this small

  • Opening skit aside... this version of the theme song was so much better than later versions.

  • @TampaGS I agree. The 1st opening and 1st cast were the best. After Lisa & Trini got kicked off, the intro - and the show - went downhill fast. As for Mark, all he did was get in the way.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker looks cute as Annie in 3-2-1 Contact. And a few Years later, The Sex in the City Is now married to Mr Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick). I had no Idea Sarah Was cute back then.

  • From what I've seeing, the Sarah Jessica Parker clip was used in various ways. Even on "The Late Show" with David Letter where Sarah acutally showed this clip.

  • Geez, so many starts got their start on Sesame Street.

  • Bloody hell I completely forgot about that song.

  • Amazing!

    xoxo

    The Clarences

  • Is it just me or does the them song sound like Elton John's "Mo ma don't love you"

  • @majorlopez

Mama can't buy you love - Elton John 1979 And yes it is somewhat similar I never thought about it until you mentioned it here. Of course this is from the Disco years so that style was very popular.

  • Weird that's orphan Annie? Television was so creative, and unpredictable back then. I wish I could get my hands on this show.

  • OTI NANAI!WTF?AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • yu wanna understand this show????? lmao

  • I never watched this show when I was younger. Maybe I was too young to understand it.

But if I had at least watched 1 ep and saw these girlies- I would have stuck around!

Lisa and Trina were like TV babysitters!

  • I was just an 8 year old kid at the time............but I ALWAYS had the biggest crush on Trini!

  • I wonder what the hold up is on getting this first season out on DVD?

  • skybuster, that was really rude and mean. Why are you even on here if you don't like her.

  • I've checked the closing credits for this particular week and yes, IT IS INDEEED Sarah Jessica Parker w/ Sandy the dog.

  • I've recorded this when I was very young. My parents and siblings told me that I'm crazy taping this stuff. Look who's talking now.

I wish I could put up full length episodes of this stuff.

  • It is Sarah Jessica Parker..

    She played Annie..

On Broadway.. where Annie played long before it was made into a movie.

  • Personally I think that this is the best version of the theme for this great show and also the best logo for the Children's Television Workshop.

  • great song

  • Maybe it's not Orphan Annie, but definitely Sarah Jessica Parker.

  • It is indeed both. Annie was a popular Broadway musical in the late 70s, and Sarah Jessica Parker was one of several actresses to play the lead role.

  • A young Sarah Jessica Parker? As Orphan Annie? just not right.

  • This episode dealing with hot and cold was opened up fittingly with hot Trini lying on the bean bag chair. Trini and Lisa is what made this show hot.

Also what is Orphan Annie doing in 3-2-1? That is no Aileen Quinn playing her! Aileen Quinn played Annie in the original 1982 movie of the same name.

That must be her dog, Sandy.

  • This took place in 1980, 2 years BEFORE the Annie movie came to theaters.

  • excellent love show till this day wish pbs would rerun this show

  • Not a chance, I'm afraid. The science info is WAY too dated.

Maybe it will be released on DVD someday, if we're lucky.
