In my History class, as a junior, my teacher always told the class that we the people have the power in this country because we can vote. I wish I had said something to refute that, but I didn't. Plus, she said if a person doesn't vote, they don't have the right to complain. All I could think about was George Carlin's bit on voting.

voting Ron Paul won't fix things but what it WILL do is make people question things. Even if Ron Paul can't make the changes he talks about whether congress continually ass-fuck him, the important thing is that when someone's the president of the country it's pretty hard to ignore them and even though Ron Paul isn't right about everything, he DOES bring up a lot of real issues for a change instead of the relative non-issues which are the subject of so much 'debate' today
