  • Welcome back Jagr, guess the KHL sucks since he'd rather play here for less

  • @megabenman Well, NHL has more publicity.

  • wow, what a great song. Why did Jagr go to Russia? Maybe the IRS scared him away...he did get a lot of money over there no?

  • THIS GUYS VOICE IS SOOO FUNNY

  • @MillerIsJesus that's a conclusion based on very simplified considerations...but i respect your opinion

  • @MillerIsJesus after a couple of years in Russia, so what's your point? if he didn't like it there he wouldn't have stayed there for such a long time

he wasn't desperate to leave he just wanted a change in his life

Jágr even changed his religion from catholic (which is common for the christians in the Czech republic) to orthodox (which is typical for Russia) so what better prove of his close relationship to the Russian way of thinking can there be?

  • How amusing that Russia lusts for player who wears the 68 number as reminder what russia did in 1968. Or maybe "RT" even doesnt know ...

  • i wish to see him back in nhl but i think it wouldn't be good for him, if he return, everebody would expect he will be as great as he used to but today's he's quite old and he just can't play like 6 years ago. But anyway, i wish to back to the years he used to play for pittsburgh....

  • Wow this elmet is so illegal xD

  • If Jagr only stayed in the NHL - he would have reached 1000 assists and more by now.

  • Jagr go back to pitty........ps: that music was really gay

  • I lost my respect for him at the 2010 world champs final.. crying like a baby after a small hit. Grow up.

  • @omgkittymeowmeow123 He didn't cry so much as compliment the hit. "It felt like I was hit by a train," doesn't sound like crying as much as just describing the hit.

  • I LOL'd as soon as the music started up

  • Heh, he may play in Russia, but he beat them well at the World Championship :)

  • how do you say "gay music" in russian or czech??

    lol

  • @oehieze lol ? :-D

  • The NHL lost out in losing Jagr.

Despite his size and strength, he always hated the brutality of North American hockey. He always preferred Euro-style.

It's not surprising he jumped at the chance to play Euro-style near the end of his career.

    But we lost out.

  • Jagr forever ! 68 !

  • JÁGR JE KRÁL!! (JÁGR IS KING!!)

  • speak for yourself

    napajedlacek, ok?

  • He scored 723 goals in the NHL.??? wrong.... he scored 646 goals. IF he'd still play in the NHL he would reach that goalmark...

  • 646 + 77 (playoffs) equals 723. :)

  • we Czechs like Russians ....they close to us with their language and Slavic culture...

    and Jagr is not different

  • Speak for yourself...

  • are kiddin me? Speak for the yourself. We are not like russians dogs, they are aggresive, promitive and expansive.

  • @napajedlacek and they're occupied us in 1968 ;)

  • @ArtixCZ

no ,they did not..they were brainwashed by jewish bolsehviks for 80 years ..but international marxist theoris..LONG LIVE THE CZAR!

  • well rumor has it he has contacted mario to come back to the burgh where he played his best hockey

  • He said if he was going to return to the NHL he would go to either the Penguins or Rangers, but if Mario asked he would go there first.

  • I don't think Jagr will play anymore in NHL.

  • dont even talk about a jagr comeback youre gonna make me spew

  • and Mario was laughing ...:-)

yeahhh get him back to PITT !!

  • it is not true! he hated the USSR! but ask you - it is not necessary to mix up Russia and USSR!

  • Jagr is the best. Its funny though that he chose to play in Russia, I though he hated the Russians.

  • noway, he loves russians, he is an orthodox christian

  • No, I have to beg the differ my friend. I am a fan of Jagr from childhood and when I played hockey I wished to play like him and emulated his style. Anyways, look up why he wears number 68 in honor of Prague Spring and he likes Former President Ronald Reagan =).

  • he told many times that this was just a courage of his young age. now he plays here, everyday says that he likes russia. do you think he lies? ))) by the way, now i'm watching the playoff game avangard-ak bars, he plays and smiles.

  • jagr hate comunizm not Russia. He loves russians. Comunism is not Russia.

  • because russian hockey is completely different from the NHL. it is entirely supported by unimaginably rich oligarchs who care little about the sport, and would pay any salary for a good player. so the answer is: money.

  • You mean like the 7 million a year he was making playing for the Rangers before the lockout? Thats US dollars by the way. At this point in his career money wouldnt be necessary. He would rather play close to home for a lesser salary at this point.

  • he plays a lot in European casinos

  • it's not that close, look at the globe :) from Omsk to Prague - 2427 miles :)

but he said himself that he likes Russian mentality better that the American one, so maybe that's the reason

  • @dirrx totally agree with you! I hope next season Sparta to join the KHL

  • 0:43 flex and nice goal

  • Jagr will be back in the NHL, guaranteed!

    p.s. gayest song ever

  • I wouldn't be too surprised to see him back. That new league is running out of money, and we have the best players over here. I'd love to see him back in Pittsburgh to finish his career.

  • is it just me, or it kinds sound like Borat is reporting the story.

  • hahahahah, I just pissed my pants.

  • I'm so proud of him!!!

  • he should be on the rangers!!!

  • Jagr=monney, thats the unique reason for him to go in Russia.

  • Jagr has made more money than any other player in the history of the game. Highly doubt it was all about money.

  • Jagr should have stayed in the NHL. He would have easily hit the 800 goal mark.

  • @risingforce86

Maybe, but he's peaked athletically, and age will see a decline in his skills. He'd be washed up by 42 in North America, but in the KHL, where there are fewer players of his caliber, he can play for another 6-8 years and still be relevant.

  • @risingforce86 agree. he could be in the top 5 all time scoring list..

  • @risingforce86 Well, he's back, and everyones pissed now...Idk why, is it cause the pens didn't get him?

  • @risingforce86 he is.

  • I love Jagr. It's bad for NHL he is gone....Last year on of the best NHL players and best player in play off. He was dominant player.

  • name of the song pls

  • Chesney Hawkes - One and Only

  • oh god... it's kinda cult of personality making propaganda clip... but istead of great putin or that medvedev guy there's JAROMIR THE GREAT:D.. ya russians are so mad:D:D

  • he is too old

  • Everyone knows, what age he is, that's a useless comment! All the things are getting older, also you and me.

  • he's not too old...Lidstrom won the Norris trophy a few months away from being 38...Jagr is only 36...He can still put up 80 points in the NHL...he lead the Rangers last year while they had younger guys like Drury and Gomez.

Other than that, this is a horrible song for the clip...

  • Jagr gave much NHL, now NHL talks that he is bad.. It badly. Very badly NHL it badly
