I have spent my past 4 spring breaks in New Orleans helping to rebuild after hurricane katrina, after playing this song I realized this is truly their testimony. They lost their posessions, some of them still aren't in houses they lost family and friends but the doors of churches are always open and people standin line as if you were giving them each a milloin bucks to hear Jesus' word. This song makes me think of them and their faith and how God works.
The rossary is not a true christian symbol or what ever,is the same thing as worshiping idols,that won't save you you pray the rossary you are waisting your time,following man made commandments,Jesus Lord And Savior,John14:6.

You are not the only one making this observation. Some amazing original music has come from Carol Cymbala. It would be really great to have a CD of Carol Cymbala's original compositions. What a beautiful, inspiring song. I just happened to come across it and now I listen to it everyday. The lyrics say exactly what I feel.
BTW- I've only seen this one time and I haven't found it since but can anyone tell me the name of the video where the soloist and choir are singing for some type of program? I think they were dressed in black and gold.

I luv BTC, but to be honest, I'm getting tired of them re-doing other gospel artist works... Tramaine Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, Straight Gate Mass, Kurt Carr, Kirk Franklin the list goes on and on... They used to make original work... what happened? What ever happened to giving God something new? When did they go from being Originators to Duplicators?

Yes, BTC original songs are great. But what you suggest is like asking choirs to stop recording the Hallelujah Chorus or an opera singer to refrain from recording an opera because it's been done before. Another interpretation of great music, especially with a great message, always pleases my spirit.

I understand what you're saying, but whatever happened to singing to the lord a NEW song? It's just a little disappointing to me when I buy a BTC album and the majority of the tracks are songs that I already own from other artist who were creative enough to give God something new...

The BTC has a large following that extends to many other countries. For many of them these are new songs that they have not heard before. However, submit your concerns to the BT music department. You are not the only one making this observation. Some amazing original music has come from Carol Cymbala. It would be really great to have a CD of Carol Cymbala's original compositions. She is an amazing song writer and director.

Hang on cDubbed1, God is so faithful, he will bring you through, give Him praise, do what the song says, it takes work to not lose your hope, not lose your joy, and not lose your praise. What I love about God is that He will turn your situation around if you just praise his name, think of Paul and Silas in the prison after being beaten, all they did was pray and sing praises and God shook the prison and loosed their chains. which version came out first the one by Rramaine Hwakin and Curt Carr or this one by TThe Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir ?? they both have good lead vocalist i like tramaine a little bit better she's singing more like she's been through something this soloist is singing more it's just a song she has a beautiful voice but tramaine I don't feel that anointing like I do when tramaine sings it no offense just my opinion tramaine is anointed
