yeah he did. he did all the artwork for DAAS, and the Sideshow, and he also designed the DAAS costumes. he wanted to be an artist and got into performing so that he could buy canvas instead of nicking it out of the art college bins.
@summers283 tim and rich helped paint a few of the backdrops but you are spot on. he didnt have enough money to buy the canvas' so he stole em from the bins. This was the reason he joined Gigantic Fly and then DAAS.
Apparently the boys didnt want the costumes to be washed or the oil paintings would be ruined.
Feel sorry for the ladies at the performing art gallery where those costumes still are today.
@summers283 woah! I dont even know if they're still there!
lucky? to have the actual clothes that had been in contact with Paul's body for so long would equal in me goin crazy.... but really..... P-HEW!!!! According to Paul, his costume began to grow blue mould in the creases, and the ladies had to smother it in talcum powder to mask the stench.
"After a while I realised that if I shoved their head under my arm, inside my jacket, after about a minute, they just stop moving..."
@QuirkyGirl12345 I don't even care how bad the smell or how mouldy they are, I'd build a room just to store them in perfect luxury and I'd just go in and look at them ... and maybe sleep in them ... occasionally ... and never take them off. >.>
@summers283 I'd probably wear the jacket but the rest i would keep in pristine condition..... that way when science perfects it, I can have my own DAAS clones out of their sweat(and other bogily fluids;)....)! woot!
@QuirkyGirl12345 Oooooohhh!!! Tasty!! Can I have some?? I promise I'll take REALLY REALLY good care of them, as if they were the real thing! PLEEEEEEEASE. I'll feed them and bathe them and buy them toys and play with them and they'd be all snug and cost and they'd live in my room. ^^
@QuirkyGirl12345 i had a pair of experimental jeans like that. after about 5 years of not being washed, they where shiny. and water proof! took my girlfriend about 6 years of hassling before i chuked 'em. She was not there at the start, oh no...
