The only thing that bothers me is the pet look. Magus has very silly looking pets compared to his badass looking armor. Also, the fact that you're on a disk, a bit elevated above the crowd makes you a nice target to spot in RvR. If you're playing order and there's lots of Destro bunched together, who will you notice first - Magus or Goblin shaman/SH? :)

@gplr1882 class is only for hardcore players. it's mostly known fact that it's probably hardest class in game to play WELL as. If you get REALLY high gear though [takes months of work] magi can fucking solo almost anybody except very good healers endgame. so idk u chose.

It's pronounced mad-jus, as I believe you've been told, next the good "blow me away" is epic by itself but mixed with seriously awesome and well played magus clips is beyond the call of duty for a video maker. Compared to other casters...It actually is meant to take a little more damage..The skin on their armor looks like heavy armor, though I know it's just robe, but it's the demonic armor spell that makes them more resilient than other casters

Now War is some gear dependent, but the gear colors are gold, purple, blue and green, green being the worst are not to much better then each other. Set bonuses are what makes gear damn good, but still not that comparable to how WoWs gear turns you from chump to champ, its how you use your tactics, morales and renown points. The best reason for armour sets is their wards, these grant you damage reduction from getting one shotted in deeper end game content, forts, cities and dungeons.

Compared to WoW, War is a lot more fun, I played WoW for a very long time the gear makes the difference for the most part. In War you can be fresh to each tier zone and still be a huge help in RVR (PVP) thanks to the bolster buff. As long as you know how to play your class you can own people. I was killing full Sentinel Bright Wizards and Shadow Warriors with my Squig Herder with crappy gear and low renown rank. What matters the most in War is being able to team up, 1vs1 is pointless.

The problem I see with the Magus is that it is no where near comparable to its mirror the Engineer. In the Path of the Grenadier, they have 2 tactics (Extra Powder and Throwing Arm) that are just insanely imbalanced compared the Magus's first two tactics in the Path of Changing tree (Magus's mirror of Path of the Grenadier.) The imbalances are pretty insane at times, Mythic really needs to balance the mirrors out or not use the word mirror at all. Balance was promised but not delivered.

I dont care what people say about the Magus, mine is lvl 25 and I do great damage in pvp and die much less than my Sorcerer. The DoTs are my favorite part, I can lay down about 6 at a time and half of those are AoE ones.

Path of changing is better for lots of DPS in bug groups of bad guys. 1v1 would be chaos and the other, but for overall damage changing is the best.

they dont do more damage but the thing is that they can cast all their aoe dots from 100ft.. while magus has to get really close(65ft) to cast them.

I dont know if they are gona add the tactic for magus too which increases the range by 50% like the engineer.. but until then i stopped playing my magus

Magus, I snare them, reduce their damage to me by 50%, let my daemon drag their attention while sneaking away with my dots dealing 300dps plus the daemon. Yeah doesn't it suck.

Its the path of changing the one in the middle,its for medium ranged casting ( about 65ft).

My second one is ( I forgot the name ) But its the one for close range.

Ok thanks, I'm leveling a magus alt now and I'm going to get it the first tactic in Daemonology that lets you cast your pets instantly then I'm going to put the rest of the points in to the path of changing, I think I might make this one my main though, playing a chosen gets kinda old and plus I love AOEing things.
