Skyrim being the best RPG of the year would just be bullshit. As others have mentioned before, the graphics are incomparable to The Witcher, so are the quests, which in Skyrim, they just want you to clear caves, kill some mobs, bring something and that's pretty much it, the storyline in the campaign was just linear and boring. In Witcher 2, storyline actually changes as you play and every side quest you do in this game is different. Skyrim is a good game but it's kinda buggy and nothing amazing.

Everyone is talking about skyrim being the best rpg. Yes I like it and I play it but 1: it isn't hard to get good 2: it just didnt have enough fun things to do. But oblivion the 4th elderscrolls game was amazingly fun to me and will never get boring because it had a wider variety of monsters and the map was funner and they had acrobatics and main skills like speed and such. Witcher was a PC specific title for one. Also, the game doesn't have a multi-billion company producing it for publicity, hype and so-forth. It's a young series, half as many games as Skyrim, and doesn't produce other games with the same engine to bring in audience.

This is just rise of the white wolf. It's a remake of the original designed for the consoles and it was CANCELLED long ago. The Witcher 2 is due out on PC soon-ish, and console versions will follow, but it looks sloppy and has lost the decent animations the original had.

So, this isn't the Witcher 2. This is actually the first Witcher game being converted from PC to the consoles. Unfortunately, the game was suspended on April 2009 and it's unknown if they will take it up again. They're probably focusing on the sequel more.

Game is hard 3,5y work effect with best animators and programmers like Oscar nominated Tomasz Bagiski - Cathedral animator (just watch to understand his genious) . Such names make me sure that this will be worth of any $ or EUR to spent. One of the most fascinating advencher with open world and best AI world interaction game and deffinitlely this will be 2011 best RPG game!

This is just rise of the white wolf. It's a remake of the original designed for the consoles and it was CANCELLED long ago. The Witcher 2 is due out on PC soon-ish, and console versions will follow, but it looks sloppy and has lost the decent animations the original had.

So, this isn't the Witcher 2. This is actually the first Witcher game being converted from PC to the consoles. Unfortunately, the game was suspended on April 2009 and it's unknown if they will take it up again. They're probably focusing on the sequel more.
