My heart broke for Lisa when Michael Jackson died. Imagine the pain she must feel in knowing that she was helpless to save not one, but TWO people that she loved, and that they both died in such similar ways. What a nightmare for her. Psychologically, I don't know how she deals with it.  She must look at Paris Jackson and see herself all over again from 30 odd years ago.

@Cathie8791 I know exactly what you mean, I felt and still feel badly for her. I have seen some recent pics of Lisa & she appears to be packing on the weight. She gained a lot of wt, of course, when she carried the twins, but after she gave birth it looked like she was gradually getting back down to her normal wt. However, since MJ died, I think she binges on food for comfort. Just my opinion. I do hope she starts working out again & gets healthy. Also, you can still see the sadness in her face.

Even though he was raised Christian, he is technically Jewish because his gg and g grand mothers were Jewish with a straight female line through his mother to him..He wore a Star of David and a Cross about which he joked, but it was serious. He also put the Star of David on his mother's original grave, but I think removed by his dad after Elvis's death when they moved Gladys to Graceland..

I was expanding on your Elvis was a Jew statement. He was in fact quite the Christian contrary to what some Jews believe to be Jewish law. He was so devoted to his faith that he hated being called the king, he was quoted as saying "Jesus is the only king." It is important that he get credit for what he was and what he believed, that's all.

I never said Elvis wasn't a Christian. He was definitely a Christian raised in an Assembly of God church, attended 3 times a week as a child, & was saved. He read his Bible all the time,& yes hated being called the King. That has nothing to do with him being technically Jewish. He knew this, & honored it with a Star of David on his mother's original grave. Elvis also studied Eastern religions,& attended the Self Realization Fellowship. Some don't like that, but he was still a Christian.

I wish Elvis had lived to have had more influence on her, instead of her getting more from Priscilla, it would have been alot better if she was raised in Memphis and the more Southern tradition, she maybe would have been a little more humble about her life in general, Elvis grew up poor so he knew how lucky he was when he got his success, she on the other hand has never known what it was ever like. She is a independent and strong woman though and copes with the celebrity as well as she can.
