Exactly, to me if your gonna post something like "chloe goes wild" make it worth while. Dragonforce, I hate them, however they have masterful skills. I have seen them live and I totally can't stand speed metal like that but they are good. Skills aside, Muse is the best show I have ever seen

Have you played the Oboe? Have you played all these instruments alone, in a small combo, and in an orchestra? Do you think the masters of these instruments put in *less* hard work and dedication than the members of your metal bands?

The truth is you can't really use the words "good" or "better" when talking about music because those are such relative terms with very broad meanings. There is only one certain statement you CAN make and that is: metal sux.
Well I actually play a number of instruments and I like all types of music. I for one play mostly a style similar to indie when it comes to guitar. Out of every type of music I have played Metal is the hardest, It is more complex and can be compared to composition of classical music. This is kinda drumming is very bland and very generic. These beats are something that you do when you cant think of anything else. I am a drummer, hence the name houdrummer.
I'm not saying Chloe is great, just saying I think there are other types of music with MUCH more to offer than metal does. I'm sure there are some metal bands who are actually legit,
serious artists, but on the whole, the genre seems to be young males who are more about the image/attitude than music. I had a few collegefriends who were into metal and I quickly grew bored with it. (you have to at least admit that the lyrics are pretty wack): "For my friends! For my family! Straight f***ing edge!"
everyone has an opinion but come on these girls are in jr. high and high school! their great, if you dont like it dont listen..
