I think that the most disapointing part of the series is that there are 4 very powerful fighters. Veeno, Ladd, Chane, and Graham and never once do any of them finish a fight between each other. They just stop mid fight an move on.
Love the series and even the theme tune is starting to grow on me.........but I feel like the ending is lacking some what, raising more questions and leaving us with few answers. (kinda like 'LOST')
There needs to be either another series or a couple of movies to tie up all the loose ends and build on some of the peripheral characters.

They set it up for a second season (which they CAN do, Brains Base has many more light novels to adapt from). Also, remember in episode 1 when a scene is shown with Isaac's ear being torn by that one woman with the halberd? That scene showed many characters that don't appear until future arcs. It'd be a sad shame if those later arcs weren't animated.

Over all like the atmosphere but some of the sillier characters would be better if left out, and the telling stories in non linear order, let alone multiple ones is a bad thing to experiment with.

So, in the "end," we are supposed to imagine the "ending?" To imagine in the confines in which we are given... but what are the boundaries of said confinement? Who is to say that this is the only story? The viewer? The writer? The characters themselves? I am saying that we shouldn't see this as an ending, as they say we shouldn't, but more of a point in the story for a chapter to end and a new one to start. That we should "wait and see" for a new chapter, but this new chapter is our own we made.
